alright prof. lectures are kind of boring/dry, but his exams are really straightforward. def easier than Navarro! unfortunately, I took orgo 2 during COVID, and him teaching over BB collab was just not worth it. blehhh

His lectures are clear and he speaks at a reasonable pace. I attended all lectures and mostly used my notes for studying. He is also very helpful during office hours. Take him.

He really just reads off the slides and rushes through every topic, yet expects you to know everything in the textbook really well. Exams are easier than Murelli's, but if you don't get a lot of help outside of class you will not do well. In fact, most students skip the lecture altogether, finding that it's not worth their time. Soothing voice.

Agree with the comment below, his recitation quizzes range from difficult, to even more difficult. I actually think his lectures might be important though so go to lecture and take pictures of the slides to see what he covers. His exams are very weird and random so look for things that you'd normally skip out in the textbook.

He's very laissez faire with his rec instructors. So if they want to make a extremely hard quiz he doesn't stop them like Prof. Navarro would. Test are easy but he doesn't test you on important stuff. He will ask for like whats the transition state of this rxn. The final was extremely difficult though, I got 100s on the tests but the final idk.

Here's the thing with this professor: his exam questions are "easy", but they cover the topics that you just glance over in the book. All of the actual difficult stuff you work hard to understand, ends up not being on the exam. He does not give much synthesis problems AT ALL so if you're bad at synthesis TAKE HIM.

I agree with the posts b4, tests were generally straightforward except for a couple hard ones on each test. Overall much better than Howell. The man in is weird...he talks so low and has this creepy smile.

I couldnt understand a damn word he was talking about. He never gives a straight answer, and is very evasive. He got nice at the end of the semester, but it was like creepy nice.
