Comment:

Never fought so hard to stay awake in a class, his voice is soo boring and will talk for 3 hrs. 10 pg paper on renewable energy, he helps and gives sources. Not hard to pass at all. Did the paper 3 days before it was due and still received a 90 on it. Easy A if you can write your papers well.

Hes great! A lot of lectures for 2.5 hours but he has this monotone voice that could put you to sleep. But hes smart! My class and I had to do 10 pages of paper on the topic of global warming and biogas. You dont get to pick your own topic, unfortunately.

Professor Bell is great and very smart BUT you must know that for Business Seminar 4200W he is choosing the topic of the class. It's not what you may expect. My class was about global warming and biogas. Attendance is not required, but when you choose to come, expect to be there according to your schedule. His voice can really put you to sleep

Great Professor, his voice is one tone so it can be a little boring but he really cares about the topic and is a great professor, no textbooks or notes just listen and 10 page paper at the end if you go to his lectures you will know exactly how he wants it and will even go over it before you submit it.

Comment:

I was hesitant to take him for the summer seminar because of the amount of papers that was required. I don't regret it one bit because the work was well worth the grade. The lectures consist of discussions and looking at business news and reports. The only negative is that he has a monotone voice that can put you to sleep.

I graduated 13 years ago and he is still the best, most memorable professor. This is college, you write papers! Big deal. You have all semester,it's a simple subject, he is available to help and you don't have to be the most proficient writer. I also learned more about the world outside of textbooks than from any other teacher. Buy his books.

Bell is amazing. His ideas on economy are worth listening to. There were 3 papers in this class, which is nothing for a writing intensive course. Attendance is not necessary but if u want to succeed in business, his opinions will be extremely helpful. If u r in college just to get a degree for the sake of getting the degree--skip the class.

Comment:

Professor Bell is THE choice for the business policy seminar, or anything else he is teaching. He is the best professor I've had, at BC, period. This class changed my life and it will change yours if you work at it. An out-of-the-box thinker, his views on the corporate world and business in general are inspiring and innovative. Highly recommended!

This is the worst professor that I had in this college. He ask to do too much work like the student are taking only his class on the semester so at least he should think that we have other clases too so he should be more reasonable about it and he should try to act as a humanbeing. Bell is the man!!! If you are interested in learning a thing or two about what real business is all about TAKE HIM. You’ll have to write a long final paper but its worth it. He is no nonsense kind of guy unlike some other BC profs.
