This cat is the mouse of all cheese! best professor ever Chem is harder than the words I can use on here. Class preperation is important to understand the material and do well. He will grade you more on your effort than anything else, this means class participation and adopt a nickname! I learned alot and think the man is going to heaven.

Dr. V (aka Dr. Phil) is good on what he does. He teaches the old fashion way. Although his test are very hard, he curves the grades. Towards the end of the semester he makes you redeem yourself. Nice guy..Approachable too

Not a soul said chemistry was easy. Im in Vickners class now, and hes the best. Coolest man i have ever met. He does not go on tangents, but explains chemistry so that retards can understand it. If you cant understand him and pass his class, give up on science. He is patient and personable and explains chem so a damn fish gets it. TAKE HIM!!

I regret not taking him for CHM 111. I probably would've gotten an A in the first class if I had him. He's a great guy, and teacher, very funny and made chemistry interesting. He went off on a tangent....often, but he has a good philosophy for it and the majority of his stories were actually chemistry related.

Took Vickner for Fundamentals and CHM101. He's easily distracted. I joked with him that I'd have to put Ritalin in his coffee. His tests are very difficult. However, he's always willing to help you out after class and his grading system is very fair. If most of the class did poorly, he'll take a look at what he did rather than blame the students.

All I have to say is if your reading this comment, Do not take Victner, hes terrible. I bet all these other positive post are all from himself. His test are crazy hard and his grading system makes no sense. He'll tell you your doing fine and than give you a D. No i did not get a d I got a c but still hes horrible, plus you learn nothing.

I had Vickner for CHM 2 and although I didnt understand a word just like I didnt in CHM 1, he made you want to come to class just to listen to how funny he was. Best teacher at GCC!
