Comment:

Prof. Cartwright is the sweetest teacher I've ever had. She's very passionate and does as much as possible to get the student to learn the material. She had online homework as well as virtual labs for this fall 2020. A total of 4 tests and plenty of extra credit opportunities.

Comment:

She is the best professor I ever had. She is really caring and considerate and she explains stuff really really well. Her tests are easy because she explains it good. She made me fall in love with chemistry completely. I really recommend her for any chemistry class. She doesnt cram students with homework. Only one homework every sunday.

By far the best teacher I have ever had. Mrs. Cartwright is the sweetest, most helpful, and wittiest teacher there is. Chemistry can be very hard but she explains it so well. She is always available after class and is always providing extra credit. I will definitely take her again.

Comment:

I took Dr. Cartwright's Chem-1311 class as an 8-week and she was the best! She is available when you need her, she makes class fun with all of her cat stories, and her labs were clear and fun. If you don't understand the material she will give you different examples until you understand it. There's also easy extra credit! You should 100% take her!

Comment:

Dr. Cartwright is a top-tier professor. Shes very experienced as a teacher and it shows. The workload is very manageable, she only assigns 1 or 2 homework assignments a week. Shes responsive with emails, and gives a review similar to each test and the final. Very approachable and helpful. Everyone should take her for Chemistry!

Awesome lecturer, down to earth, and witty. Extremely approachable, and provides opportunities for obtaining extra credit by encouraging participation during STEM outreach programs. The best part, although some may disagree, but Dr. Cartwright is engaging, and will call on everyone in the lecture, so make sure that you have done the work.

Ann Cartwright is amazing. She is so experienced and truly cares for her students. If you do not understand something she will go over it several times to make sure you understand. Her tests and quizzes are pretty clear and study guides/practice tests are exactly like the real tests. TAKE HER. you won't regret it.

She's the best! Gives tons of opportunities for extra credit, has loads of time outside of class to answer questions, and doesn't mind reviewing Chem 1 material during lecture if you're a little rusty (like I was).

Sweetest person ever! 4 Tests Online HW(easy) Lab(fun) 30 points of extra credit(helped out so much, take advantage of it!!!) 1 final exam. There is a lab quiz every week. Try not to miss class. If anything is going on just email her and ask what you can do to make up for that day. She is very understanding.

You will love her and love Chemistry. Best Chemistry professor I ever had. She does call on you in class, but she's not out to embarrass you. She is passionate about the material and even more passionate about helping you understand it. She cares about your success, not just in the course but your entire academic career.

I took her for Chemistry 2 and I wish I had her for Chemistry 1 as well. She is an amazing professor that is very passionate about her job. There issn't a single negative thing that I can say about her class, you get out what you put in. it's as simple as that. Definitely recommend taking her class!

I took her for chem 1/2 and I dont regret it, she is the best teacher I ever had who posses lots of energy and is very positive. She wants the best for her students and wants them to succeed. At first I was scared of chem but after two full semesters, I have considered obtaining a science degree. She really motivated me to love chem. Thank you

I absolutely loved Professor Cartwright. Chemistry didn't come easy to me but her lectures and notes helped me pass the class. She is so hilarious and full of energy. I wish I would have taken her for Chem 1. She offers so much extra credit and truly wants you to pass the class. She responds fairly fast to emails. TAKE HER!! You won't regret it.

I enjoyed taking gen chem 1/2 with her. She is a quirky professor but she is funny and makes her lectures easy to pay attention to. She always has test reviews for tests that are actually helpful. All it takes is some study time to get an A in the class.

I really enjoyed Mrs. Cartwright's lectures, she makes even the most difficult subject easier to understand. She is a very black and white grader, no curves. However, she gives a lot of opportunities for extra credit, she also does a lecture review before each test and has many tools for studying for exams.

I took Professor Cartwright for Chemistry 1 and 2, and she was honestly the best professor I ever had! She has such a sweet and kind soul, and she loves every one of her students! She is so passionate about her subject, and she gives you everything you need to be successful in her classes!

Awesome Professor! She has very clear instructions on how to work out problems. If you have any questions she is very helpful. She makes chemistry easy to understand. Her tests are not made to trick you. Her reviews are good but make sure to review your notes before the test and print out extra reviews from the internet. Gives extra credit.
