Comment:

Professor Catto is a kind woman who is incredibly knowledgeable in Classics. The workload she assigns is very manageable, and she is always able to help you in her office hours too. The Classics can be dense in material sometimes, but she makes it enjoyable and well worth it! Assumption should be proud of a professor like her.

Amazing teacher, class was a bit boring because she just reads you the books, but since she reads them they make alot more sense. Very sweet lady, is very helpful with her feedback. Whenever she grades journals/quizzes/essays, she goes in and comments and it is very helpful.

great professor, i love her. genuinely wants you to do well. a few papers and quizzes all semester. class tends to get boring because all you do is read plays but she's a pretty easy grader. basically just wants you to prove that you're learning throughout the semester.

she's amazing and actually cares about how her students are doing! she is very helpful and is so funny. she also brings in food from time to time! her finals are take home and only has quizzes which she tells you ahead of time what is on them. love her and would definitely take her again!!!! Took her 3 times already lol

Definitely take her classes! This was my second class with her and both time I've learned a lot. She really takes the time to explain things. Classes are easy if you actually do all the work and pay attention. My favorite professor so far!

Prof. Catto is probably one of the greatest professors ever. she genuinely cares for her students and is super nice. Definitely take her! There is a lot of reading, but they are all interesting texts, like Dante's Inferno. If you aren't interested in mythology, don't take it. She is really easy, tests are simple, and essays are easy to do.

Loved her as a person! she's sooo sweet but as a teacher she's a bit scatter-brained. She really wants you to do well in her class and she will go out of her way to help you. She has a lot of quizzes which is nice because they even out your grade. All in all I really enjoyed her class!

She's such a nice woman. She's an excellent teacher and goes over everything you need to know for tests/quizzes in her notes. She tries to incorporate movies into her classes and doesn't really take attendance. I definitely recommend her if you are interested in the course and want to learn something. She's awesome.

You can tell she's obsessed with Greek mythology and knows EVERYTHNG about it but she expects you to know as much as her. She gets way too into the readings as far as what you have to know for the tests and character names. The classes are REALLY boring.
