Like the other reviews have mentioned, he is not patient if you don't understand the language. However, he is a nice person in general. He gives students the chance to participate in class and actually teaches what he needs to.

His class was pretty easy only because I speak Portuguese. But he explains everything very well. Homework is easy, but tests can be tough. I would recommend him.

Absolute worst teacher. I was a dual enrollment student, just taking Portuguese for fun. I can tell you that I learned nothing, I know boa tarde. YAAAAY. But, because of my lack of Portuguese knowledge, I got a C. As a dual enrollment student, that means I can't take classes anymore. I deeply enjoyed taking them. So.. STAY AWAY. He explains NOTHING

If you no the language you will have no problem, but if you are a beginner i would recommend taking someone else..... he doesnt explain things well and i saw alot of classmates struggle because he just assumes you no certain things..... He is just an "ok" professor

He is a nice guy although I think that I deserved a better grade. He is easy going and understands that port. class isn't our life. Tests were easy!!! He told us exactly what to study for the final!!!
