She's a nice lady but she cannot teach.. She ONLY speaks in french and never translates anything in to english which in my opinion made it impossible to learn. If you ask her a question she looks at you like you're stupid and will only answer the question in french so you're left even more confused. do yourself a favor and do not take her!

Do NOT take her please! Even if it's better for your schedule and/or you need a foreign language class to graduate DO NOT TAKE HER!! She is so very rude to students. When you ask a question she looks at you like you are stupid. Very OCD about attendance and if you miss class she will hold it against you for the remainder of the semester.

Celia Roberts is a great teacher for those looking to take French for credit! Her tests are straight foreword and she speaks in French to help you understand the concepts! She is not a hard teacher unless you have no clue in what you are doing in which case she will assist you in. Don't be shy to ask her for help :)

Professor Roberts was Awesome! I recommend her to anyone that is interested in learning the French language. She will give you ample opportunities to pass her class. People get mad at her about tardiness... well if you don't want that problem COME EARLY OR ON TIME! It is not hard to get an A in this class if you study and do the work.

I don't understand how this is a "beginners" class. If I didn't take 3 years of french in high school I would have been completely lost. At least half the class dropped out after the first class. She would be better off sticking to only intermediate courses. I feel bad for anyone actually trying to learn the language cause she made it unenjoyable.

Prof. Roberts teaches the entire class in french but that only helps with comprehension and it really isn't that difficult to understand with the drawings and gestures she makes. I really enjoyed her class. She is nice and funny. SHE IS MERCILESS ABOUT ATTENDANCE. No matter how much she likes you.

Prof. Roberts is the most unprofessional teacher I have dealt with. I really feel that she has a chip on her shoulder and rather see students fail than succeed. She failed me for having 4 absenses, after I applied myself in every way possible, taking great notes and getting A's on the tests. I am going to have to CLEP the class

I absolutely love Madame Roberts.she only speaks french. she is a great teacher. she hates when youre late. i have learned so much in her two classes i can speak french very fluenly. theres alot of bookwork, online homework, and participation. but its all worth it. she is actually french so she knows what shes talking about. dont be late !

Great professor when it comes to the material she teaches it well and since she is a french native, the pronunciation is extremely accurate.She does however have a pet peeve for tardiness but besides that, she is a great professor. The students who give her bad ratings are either too lazy to do the work or arrive late and get on her bad side.

I hate her sooo much!!! worst prof ever!!! I had to drop her class n complain to the dean of te foreign lang dept about her.The dean even knew how horrible she was. Shes VERY rude thank god I was able to get outta her class. Take shirley santry if u have to take a math class.

Celia Robert is a very nice, funny instructor. She really likes to teach but she is very paranoid about tardiness. She gives extra credits, and the assignment are not too hard. my only warning if you thing you are going to be late DONT REGISTER FOR HER CLASS other than that you should do GREAT.
