He's a pretty cool guy. If you aren't a morning person, I wouldn't take him at 8am. Bad idea. Do the work and you get points already. Not an easy pass, you have to do the work, but I'm sure you will pass. Participate, and go to class.

I really enjoyed Varani's WR 135 class. He basically turns half of each class into a debate where you can just argue your opinion if you care about a topic. Papers are easy because you just write if your agree and why or why not. Essays require some work, but still not hard.

Really chill dude! Easy grader and tells alot of different but interesting stories. For writing just know how to formally structure an essay and for intro to lit fiction just know the plays and you should get an A. If you like god laid back teachers hes your guy!

I think everyone in my class needed a support group after this class. After 50 minutes of the class I found myself needing a cigarette, and I don't smoke.so. boring. But easy and he is easy enough to get along with.

Varani is pretty easy. He had random quizzes, but announced he would do this in the beginning of the term. I passed his class as everyone taking it should. You don't need to read everything, just have a general idea and you're good to go. Sparknotes were golden.

I was very skeptical about Varani at first, but during the quarter he proved to me to be a very good teacher. His teaching style isn't the greatest but he uses his hands a lot. And really, if you don't try to get engaged in the class, it is very boring. You get out what you put in.

I dont like poetry at all. Had to take the class. Couldn't have been stuck with a better teacher though. Worst thing about him is that he is never clear on what is going to be on midterms or final exams. Just tells us to go over the poems we've studied..... not helpful, for tests, but the dude is a player for real
