I absolutely love her! She's a stickler for grammer... but shouldn't she be? Do the work and you will definitely succeed, if you don't... you will not. I would definately take her again.

Took her 7 week sociology class. Must participate in weekly discussion and respond to 2 students on 2 different days. Stupidest thing ever. She is the grammar and spelling police too, will take off lots of points for grammatical and spelling errors. So if u spell like dis dnt bahther 2 take dis class. I would NOT recommend her. She stinks

The class consists of quizzes, discussion posts and 4 critical thinking assignments. Crtical thinking assignments required the most work but are fairly easy when research is conducted. As long as you post your discussions and responses on three different days of the week you will be good. She is very big on grammar mistakes so proofread carefully.

She is a good Professor. easy A if you follow her simple requirements when it comes to responding with discussion. I find her FAIR. I got a "B" in her class because I just post my Initial post and respond to 2-3 people in one day. However, she wants us to respond in 3 different days.

Easy class, barely even tried and passed with an A. I never even read a single page from the book, info for the discussions and essays were easily obtained from the internet. Just remember to post your discussion early in the week for max credit.

Really tough grader without good feedback to help you improve. Not consistent for grading, never knew exactly what she wanted from you. Took off 5 points because I missed 2 commas out of an entire paper. Never received a 100 on an assignment except quizzes. I would not recommend her at all. No extra credit. Discussionboard, quiz and paper most week

Mrs. Nortz is not a good teacher by any means. She doesn't even follow her syllabus, her discussions have to be posted earlier than syllabus date for classmates to comment on yours. If your discussion does not get comments every day, you get a C! Even though I got a B, its frusterating when a teacher doesn't even give feedback plus her bad grading.

Terrible at what she does, no way you are getting a full grade for your work. If you did, than she is not fair to students. I always had really good relationships with my professors, however, this lady doesn't have the best character. It was an online class, but when your professor doesn't want to be helpful, it is not easy.

Don't take this class. Had to bust butt for an A. She's lazy and there's so many mistakes on the quizzes. You will never get a perfect score on any assignment. Every grade says please refer to rubric. No direction given and tests are HARD. She honestly doesn't have good manners. Anyone can be an online teacher and this class proved that.

The reading material is long but is necessary to completely write papers. Clear expectations and as long as you participate in the discussions (check in multiple days during the week) you should not have trouble passing this class.

Was helpful if help was needed, unless you communicate she doesn't reach out. I would have liked to get more feedback however on quizzes and discussions. If you can't read one to two chapters per week or timed quizzes intimidate you I wouldn't recommend this class then. Blackboard acted up on my grading & not all assignments showed up on it.

I took her online. She was okay. There was ALOT of work. Be prepared for 2 sometimes 3 tests each week. There is 25 questions on each test and you get only 35 minutes to complete it. Its VERY hard. plus discussion board and other work. I would take it again if i had to. But I'm glad its over. Good luck.
