Took Film Appreciation. An amazing teacher.. The class was incredible easy. Would take again! Does have class projects which can be frustrating due to classmates not wanting to do work. Makes corny jokes which doesn't make lecture so boring. Easy A!

Curt is a wonderful instructor. We watched 5 films and made a couple of movies with a group, he makes it really fun. The quizzes are really easy. I'm taking another class he's teaching. LOVE HIM ?

Well, he is a huge theater nerd but what else could you expect? The lectures are over basic theater concepts that are pretty much obvious on the tests. Personally the lectures put me to sleep but I also have little interest in theater and just needed the credit. Made an easy A by just showing up everyday and barely studying. Take this guy.

Very clear on the class outline and assignments. I felt lucky taking his mini class. 4 exams and 4 movies critics in 3 weeks. He allowed you to finish all the work early, if you want to. He gave the clear lay out on the topics to discuss about each movie. I watched all the movies on VUDU and Netflix and got A. I strongly recommend his class.

EXCELLENT DL class to take. EVERYTHING is clear and easy to follow. You can finish the assignments early - which helps before finals week!! He is VERY helpful and quick to respond to emails. Wish I could have taken his class in person as he is so nice!

Very easy and laid back teacher lectures or notes he posts on blackboard, test are basically off of the notes, sometimes you can even use review on test so its an easy 100 if you do it. Final is a preformace you do with a group very easy class recommend this teacher.

The most fun I ever had in any class throughout all of my academic life. You learn a lot about movies and he is really easygoing and you can actually learn a lot about movies in the process. Watch a movie at home and take a test. Perfect for that fine arts requirement. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Took him online, SUPER easy class. He provides ALL the written material you need to pass so you don't have to buy a thing. I usually just read my material in one day and took my test. There were 4 tests, 2 movie reviews and 1 introduction. READ the instruction for posts. I saw about half my class lose credit for not using at least 200 words.

He is super nice and funny. He is the most laid back teacher i have ever had. All you do is watch awesome movies like inglorious ****s etc and then take a little quiz on them. Then u get to make your own films. its an amazing class. I enjoy it.

I'm so glad that this is a real class! Review the notes that he provides and watch the movies, EASY! The only hard time I had was the group projects which were 60% of class time. Choose your partners well or you will stress about your grade depending on someone else! You can't fail! If you do it's for being lazy!

AWESOME Teacher! He will allow you to use your notes for the tests sometimes. TAKE NOTES or COPY FROM THE BLACKBOARD, bring them to class. Offers extra credit for attending San Jac plays. The final- You write & perform a 7-8 minute play. Graded based on your script & performance. Very easygoing & makes class a lot of fun! Just don't take advantage.
