Since this is an English class, it is nothing but reading/writing. TEXTBOOK IS A MUST! Each assignment used it. Each week there was at least 1-2 discussions (6 sentences each with 2 sentence responses), 1-3 assignments (paper/worksheets). All of her assignments were very clear. She grades heavily on grammar/punctuation. Follow directions, you pass.

Comment:

I took Professor Baker's ENGL 1302 online class and it was easy. It was mostly made up of discussions and replies. You do need the textbook in order to do the discussions. She gives a fair amount of time to complete each task. The essays were pretty straight forward. My overall experience was great, I recommend to take her class!!

I can not say anything but great things about Professor Baker. She truly cares about her students. You will have 4 essays (3 1/2 page max) and for each essay she has a confrence day to allow you to meet with her for feedback. This class is enjoyable and super easy. I'm not the best at essays but I always got over an 80 on essays for her class.

Online winter 3 week class was great. There's 2 discussions per week, 1-3 short essays (2pg), 1-3 short assignments, and 1 four page research paper. No quizzes or tests. The audio for all stories can be found online but it was still helpful to have the book. All material was opened so you can work ahead. She was very fair grading papers. TAKE HER!

Comment:

Prof. Baker is a great online teacher. There are quite a few 2-4 page papers in addition to a weekly discussion and homework assignment throughout the course, but as long as you do the work and meet criteria, you will do fine. She is a tough grader when it comes to grammar and she also does not accept late work at all. Keep up with the deadlines!

Took the 6wk mini semester. Book is required. 1 respond essay(2-3pgs). 1 research paper (3-4pgs). 1 final essay(1-2pgs). 6 Homework assignments. 6 Discussion post w/ two responses. Professor left all assignments open but with deadlines on each week. You are able to work ahead, I was done by week 4. This is an easy A, trust me!

took this class for a online mini master and it was incredible! very minimal time commitment. the professor is very caring and kind, and her expectations for every assignment are super clear and straightforward! and if you're still confused she's easily accessible. only assignments included 3 discussions a week and two essays.

BEST engl prof. No homework. Two reading response essays (2.5 pgs each), 1 research essay (4 pgs), 1 final essay (2pgs). attendance is not mandatory but she does take attendance quizzes so if youre there you get a free 100 quiz grade. shes super nice and gives good feedback on your writing. Best Professor. Made the transfer from highschool to college easy. Was super sweet when it came to grades. Tries to crack jokes here and there (just laugh). Was always clear as to what she wanted you to do on assignments. She even knows you have a life outside of school and has a late Dropbox where she deducts 10 points but thats better than a 0

Professor Baker is a phenomenal teacher. Her classes are extremely fun and she loves what she does. As long as you show up to her class and participate, you should pass. There are around 10 quizzes, 2 research essays, and 2 tests. As long as you read the short stories, you WILL pass every quiz and test. 10/10 recommend taking Professor Baker.

I love Professor Baker! I would honestly take her again if I could. I had her for an online class which i was nervous to take, but she really cares about each and every student. I recommend you take her because she is so sweet and very good professor by far my favorite! :)

Professor baker is honestly AMAZING. I recommend her for everyone. I took her online bc of the hurricane, and honestly i was a little worried because I signed up for all my classes in person and i thought online was harder but she is great. She is one of the greatest teachers i have had . She defiantly made my first semester great!!!
