I took her Script Analysis class through my LC. She knows theatre, she is also the head of the whole theatre department. Still, it isn't hard if you're not a theatre major. Each class is based on a different reading, and the exams reflect topics from your discussions.

I took her Script Analysis class. Basically all you need to do is read the play and show up. It's a really straightforward class and Dr. Ruff is SO nice and helpful and hilarious. She really knows what she's talking about. Just make sure you read. It's literally all she wants.

I had Ruff for Script Analysis. While I like her as a person, I HATED that class. I thought it'd be interesting, but we didn't read anything modern at all. She really seems to be stuck on very old pieces, which is fine, but not everyone's into that. Plus, she expects us to read a play everyday. That's kind of unrealistic.

Felicia Ruff is an amazing person. She's utterly brilliant, and so funny. But don't take the class if you don't plan on going to classes or reading. You have to do both in order to pass. it's not difficult if you attend and read... but if you don't...you'll be lost.

Felicia is one of the reasons why so many of us have stayed with the Wagner Theatre track... She is unbelievably gifted, cares deeply about her students, and has a real passion for the material. Several students would like to see her head the department, and definately direct more productions.
