I took his class at City College. I received an A but would not recommend his class by any means. He assigns 30-40 pages of reading for every class, holds quizzes at the beginning each class and goes out of his way to make things difficult. Not cool, helpful or fun. Stay Away!!!

Do NOT take this class!! I have a feeling the positive comments on this page were made by the profesor himself because any student that endured this class will agree he is UNFAIR! If you take this class YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! He fails everybody, gives quizzes in every class on chapters as long as 60 pages, he even give negative #s as grades!!!

He's a really good professor. He makes you work hard, but his expectations are clear. The people whining about his class not being "an easy A" need to grow up. This is college, not middle school. If you like history and love to learn, take this class. If you take your education seriously & you want the very best for what you pay, take this class.

Wonderful Professor, You will enjoy the class, do the work on time and all the work. The matierial isnt that hard, just reading for class and then studying for exams. There were two essays, and there is an in class quiz after reading each chptr, Quizzes are easy if you the chptr. Took this class at hunter.

Excellent professor. Gives great lectures, asks questions and engages his class. He's teaching at Hunter for my class. His class is a lot of work, a lot of reading, and a fair amount of studying but if you do the work, you will have no issues. Participation is no big deal, if you answer/ask one question per class, you will be just fine.

Very, very smart man that offers a very, very difficult class. A lot of reading and a lot of test taking. For an easy time, do not take him. If you have an easy semester and want to spice things up a bit- take him. It's hard but you'll learn your stuff.

this guy saps all the fun out of anything that could be in history. he is the biggest ass. unfortunately he is so horrible that it makes it very hard to learn, if you will take him, you will end up regretting it, the second you walk into the room and hear him talk.

I cant believe they let this guy teach. He has no pity, remorse, or human emotion. he expects everyone to "participate" in his class. He is such a bully, i wouldnt do it-out of fear alone. my grade went from an A to a C-...just because of that. I pity you, if you ever had him! They should have a survivors' support group for this guy.

yes this guy has major issues of narcissism and arrogance and can be a major ass. I still remember having him a few years back he wouldn't allow a kid who had a major case of runny nose to go to the bathroom during a test and the poor guy had to sit there sniffing it all in. To be fair he warns u about cellphones before the test so turn them off.

I still have nightmares about this guy, and i had him two YEARS ago. This guy doesnt care if you are dying, if you miss one class, you would have to bring in a noterized note copied from GOD to excuse you, and still he would not care, would give you a zero on the daily quiz anyway.

Whoever thinks that this guy is normal has SERIOUS issues, he is by far the worst professor in the school, takes points of for tiny things like back in junior high, he is really arrogant (it does not get worse) and his DAILY quizzes will have you so annoyed, oh and dont even think about passing his tests, and being late = DOOM. He is a real bully.

This guy is a dick. He took five points off my final exam because I wrote my name after he said "pens down." He took two points off one girl's final grade because her cell phone rang. He gives daily quizzes, doesn't lecture on testable material, gives tests that are way too long, treats students like 13 year olds, and acts like a pompous jackass.

He's not an easy professor. He gives quizes after every homework. Midterm and final have no multiple choice and is comprised of chronolgy where you have to put items in order from 1-6 half the test is Identification where you have to answer who what where when and why in 2-3 complete sentences. I would stay away from this professor.
