Comment:

Professor Robson taught ECON 210 to me the first semester of my Freshman year (2020). I took part in the online portion offered by professor Robson due to COVID concerns. After 14 weeks of this class, I can truthfully state that she is a decent teacher that falls flat in numerous categories. If you are a hard-worker then you will do fine.

Comment:

Absolutely awful professor. She would take forever to grade your assignment and would have more homework, on the same or a similar topic, due before giving feedback on the first one. Nice. Literally took a month give feedback on some assignments. Tough grader, especially considering she constantly made mistakes while doing examples.

Ms. Robson had a tough time teaching a class both online and in person. Often times something would go wrong and lecture was severely worse online. Her grading criteria can be unclear so you might have to dig for what she is looking for exactly... but from what I heard for ECON210 specifically at UWO she is way better than the other professors.

Professor Robson is by far the worst professor I've had in my time at UWO. The amount of mental struggle it was to get through her class is horrible, when I asked for help outside of class it was indirect and showed a lack of care. She grades unreasonably hard, the only good grades you'll get will be on assignments she cannot freely grade.

The worst teacher/professor Ive had in all of my schooling. Unclear with directions and corrections, and is not happy when you ask for help. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH HER IF YOU DO NOT HAVE TO. You will regret signing up for her class if you do.

Does not prepare her students well for the exams. She does not actually plan out the semester so all homework assignments are completely at random. She also does not actually know how to do math so she shows students the wrong answers to demonstration problems. She does not respond when reaching out for help highly recommend not. taker her clas

One of the worst Economics professors I have ever had. Seeking help is no use, she is there to make you feel stupid. Not capable of teaching you any of the material. Also unable to answer questions effectively. Truly terrible.

Professor Robson was one of the worst professors I've had at UWO. Homework and exams were incredibly tough. She is okay with giving out F's without actually teaching you how to do the hw correctly, which results in you also doing poorly on exams. The final group project was also pointless. Don't seek help, she tries to make you feel dumb .

Robson is the epitome of what it means to be dysfunctional, unwilling to help students, and easily distracted. She speaks as though she is intimidated by the students, and you better believe she will be speaking AT you, not trying to help you learn. She is more scatterbrained than a turkey when it is raining, and like that turkey you will drown.

She is one of the nicest professors, however her teaching style is difficult. She basically will explain something and then give you a 5 page homework on it & expect it very detailed when she barely explained it in class. She has hard exams and very few people will pass, but she curves it a lot. She is very kind and will try her best to help you.

Robson is the average college professor, not bad but nothing special either. Pros: Clear lectures, some class time for homework, answers questions clearly, overall good teacher. Cons: Randomly assigns homework not on syllabus, calls on people that don't raise hand, and Computer Assignments are extremely hard and not explained at all but worth 30%.

Literally have to teach myself the material everyday after class. She messes up constantly in class and on her study guides. Doesn't explain to new learners, she explains like we should already know what she's talking about. One of the worst professors I've ever had.

Terrible professor. The class is taught very poorly. Professor Robson confuses herself almost as much as she does her students. She is not consistent with her grading and makes many mistakes during her lectures/when working through problems. My suggestion: avoid at all cost. Overall, the econ department is great at UWO. Robson is the exception.

Professor Robson is the worst professor I have ever had. She is incompetent. The class is disorganized and overall not taught well. She averages five mistakes a class period. Mistakes range from simple mathematical errors to not understanding how DWL is distributed. If she doesn't have the right notes, she will cancel in the middle of class.

Quite frankly, she is an awful teacher. She knows the material, and is definitely an economics geek, but cannot convey the information to students effectively. Her lectures are unorganized and she throws way too much information at the students rather than condensing the information. She shows rather than explains (if that makes sense). Awful.

This class is a lot of work, there are multiple exams, homework once or twice a week, and papers to do plus online quizzes and assignments. She is rude and will explain things broadly and it doesn't really help. I relied a lot on the textbook, which still isn't that helpful when you don't understand what is going on. I would never take her again.

She's one of the worst professors I've had at UWO. She is a really hard grader and her lectures are hard to follow because she's all over the place. Textbook isn't required but it will help because she's awful at explaining things. She is such a hard grader and will take points off even for the current answer. I'd never take another class with her.

She was honestly the worst Econ Professor I had at UWO. She had to post pone class on multiple occasions because she was asked questions that she could not answer. She made the topics she taught more complicated than they actually were simply because she was unable to teach them/unfamiliar with them herself. I would not recommend taking this class.
