Do the certification test to get an easy A. Don was an excellent teacher, very responsive to questions via email and in person. The book was meh but seriously do yourself a favor and take the cert test rather than having to do all the assignments and tests.

Prof. Hodges is a very good instructor. Patient and clear. He reminds the students that there is a presentation due. The presentation for CS/IS 196 was for about 5 min. Not hard to do. He has 1 midterm and 1 final that are based on the quetions from the textbook, which are also your homework. Very good professor. Take Him!I took 2nd 8-week Fall2011

coolest guy ever. easiest class ever. cs/is 101 is supposed to be a very hard class, but hodges makes it very easy. he is a great teacher and is highly recommended.
