Phelan is the nicest person at Longwood. Easy going GREAT guy! Also, that's so funny! He gave 38 of the 50 question of the final test in the classroom right before the test! He put the test on the screen and go through it.. WHAT A GREAT PROFESSOR!!!

He's summed up in three words:Coolest Teacher EVER! He'll cancel class sometimes, he's the FUNNIEST teacher ever, he makes things really interesting! You don't need to read the book for his class as long as you study for the exam (he gives you a study guide, USE IT). I HIGHLY recommend taking ANY class with him. Go to class and you'll be fine. =-)

Phelan is such a GREAT teacher! If you can have him at any point, TAKE HIM! He is so funny, cancels class once in a while, very helpful, and did I mention funny? I loved his class and he gives the most random quizes on funny topics that aren't graded, just to check attendance. TAKE HIM!

I love this man. All you have to do is show up to class and study for maybe an hour or two before exams, and you'll get an A. Teaches whats going to be on the exam and doesnt try to trick students, also doesnt take himself too seriously. Take this class, you will enjoy it.

Funny Man, makes it really easy to remember lessons by throwing in fun examples of certain behaviors from his days as a prison guard. It's impossible to get bad grades if you show up, take notes, use the study guides before the test.

I have taken him every semester, and will until I graduate. He is an AWESOME teacher. Tells you the funniest stories, and is hilarious during class. Every student at Longwood should take the chance to experience having him as a professor. It's not very often you wake up excited to go to class!!!!
