Worst teacher ever. I was a history major when I joined his class and changed it after because I did not want to be like him when I became a teacher. And he didn't leave yuba college voluntarily, he was fired because he got too many students complaints, or at least that's the story my counselor gave me when I told her I was changing my major.

He is extremely scary and intense esp 1st day. He is serious and doesnt play games. He really knows his stuff. U write lots of notes and have a big research paper. Be prepared to EARN your grade not to simply skate by. I enjoyed him, but i enjoy school and learning. This is not an easy A.

Professor Comer was sarcastic and yes he did yell at times but usually it was because someone would either act immature or not pay attention. Yes the research paper was long but it was not that difficult. I loved his class because he did not dumb the class down because it was a community college. Yuba College lost a good Professor when he left.

Although Dr.Comer does not hold back any sarcastic snipes/remarks to certain students, he is an excellant teacher. Be prepared to write long and perfect essays in his class. I learned a great deal of information on the constitution and american history from Dr. Comer.

I'm a history buff that studies hard and I got away with a C. Be prepared to write a LONG research paper. He's very unapproachable- I was sooo scared of him. The term "evil-genius" comes to mind. Take his course only if you're up for a challenge
