Comment:

During the semester I reached out to him on multiple occasions to check in with my grade only to have a bland response of, "I'll check". Not only did he waste his time by writing an email a week after I had sent out my concerns but, also waste my time making me have to write back to him on a discussion that should only be two email lengths long.

Comment:

He is a very nice guy and passionate about Music. Although the class is the most boring class I have ever taken. He lectures every class period and they are drier than the desert. You never know what to take notes on and a few tests are your only grade. Take the online class if you can!!!

Comment:

Dr. Mundy is a nice guy and very knowledgable, but he didn't give clear guidelines for our exams (I didn't know what to study) and his lectures were incredibly dry and boring. The concert responses and weekly quizzes do give some buffer points. I would not recommend taking this class for a Goal!

Comment:

Dr. Mundy is a very nice guy and gives decent lectures. I know personally that if I skipped class I wouldn't do well on the exams. The big points he makes from his lectures is what is on the exams. Overall, I learned a few neat things about World Music and got a pretty easy A.

Mundy was a good professor, the class was just hard. I did not look forward to going to class at all. Your grade was only based on tests and you never really know what to study. I changed my grading method to P/NC and ending up passing due to an extra credit presentation he offered to everyone. Take this class online if at all possible.

SOOOOOOOO easy! All you have to do is show up and listen and take notes. The tests are easy as long as you review your notes and he spends half the time playing music! You only need to book to go over the listening guides.

Dr. Mundy is a great professor, you can defiantly tell he's passionate about Rock & Roll! I would take this class again. Every day you listen to examples of Rock & Roll music, so it isn't just a straight lecture. His lecture is crucial to pay attention to because there's ONLY 4 exams & they're based off of lecture. Only exams, no homeworkquizzes.

I really did not like this professor's teaching style. He is extremely boring and just gets up there and speaks from the book. There is also no schedule or anything so you have no idea what's going on for class that day. If there is a quiz, he tells you about literally the day before or two days before. Very frustrating.

LOVED THIS CLASS. I had a little music experience before this class, but if you didn't expect to get help and study. He usually ends class early and is there to ask any questions. Lets you retake quizzes. In lecture he goes over the material covered in the book so it's a lot better then the online class. Also, you don't always need to go to class.

If you have any experience in music, this class is a cake walk. If you're new to music theory, Mundy explains things very clearly and spends a lot of time with each topic. Attendance was not recorded, and there were hardly any assignments. He's a really nice guy, enthusiastic about music, and a big pushover. Easy A.

History of R&R is the easiest class I have taken in college. 3 tests, an extra credit project and a final. All tests 32 questions long not very hard at all. I wouldn't even study for the test and they were all fairly easy. Take Professor Mundy he is a super nice guy and is very willing to help if it is needed.

Dr. Mundy goes through everything at a good pace so you learn and he makes it so easy to understand, even if you don't know anything about music. You practice so much in class the quizzes come easily. Midterm is a bigger quiz. Final project is simple and final exam is another big quiz.

Easy A. Only problem is that the class was at 8:00 in the morning and can be hard to stay awake in. As long as you kinda pay attention you'll be fine. If you zone out when he first teaches something you should still be fine cuz he tends to kinda reteach stuff a couple times before any test or quiz.

Super easy class, awesome professor! Very helpful. Starts at the beginning and goes slow for those that are not familiar with music. If you know any music at all, this class is a piece of cake.

Awesome prof... very enthusiastic and passionate about what he teaches. The tests have some questions that are bit too specific to know- but otherwise this is an awesome class!! Even if there's some eras of music you're not too "into".. he'll make them interesting w/ all the facts and experiences of his he throws out. Excellent prof!!
