Awesome man, awesome teacher. Made me want to teach and almost double major in philosophy (BA in Business Admin.). Teaches you to think for yourself which can be rare in conservative Christian environments. HIGHLY recommend him as a professor and a person to get to know. Also great beard and bike. Only drawback is his love for the Raiders GO BOLTS!

Absolutely the best teacher at SDCC. He will challenge your mind and assumptions. Fred is REALLY funny and extremely outside the box. People tend to love him or hate him, depending on how comfortable they are having their beliefs challenged. I didn't agree with everything he said, but I came out a better critical thinker.
