I hear he retired, but just in case he didn't: He is a jerk! He does (as an earlier rater mentioned)belittle students. Stopsky is very inappropriate and babbles on about absolutely nothing when the class is over and doesn't realize the lapse in time. The last thing I cared to hear about was his personal history, however that is all he talks about.

Stopsky is fantastic, if you are a serious student. All of you who think this guy is a ****, you are truly fools. Get a life, and stop blamming this guy because you did not do well. Have some respect also, Stopsky is a veteran both in the field of education and in our country. The race card is really tired, get creative if your gonna insult.

basically, he kinda sucks. he'll have you redo assignments 3-5x until you get it right.he is very flexible with handing in assignments, and he is great to talk to 1 on 1.what really sucks about him is the fact that he wants you to write a lesson plan that has nothing to do with the board of ed. standard of writing a plan.all that work for nothing

despite the many complaints about this guy, he is the ral deal as far as professors go. Yes he is very difficult, yes he goes on and on about history, but so what? If you are a history teacher to be, this guy will get you into shape quickly. That is, as long as you are willing to be a good student. Overall, very helpful.

boring professor who likes to hear himself speak, definitely helpful but class lacks any interesting elements. Classroom managment ideas are useful, former history teacher, he uses history as an example for many of his points. Overall good professor, means well but still boring. Get ready to write a lot as he gives many writing assignments.

This teacher is amazing,he does offer great advice. He seems tough in the beginning but give him a chance, he will teach you. He knows what he is doing. I agree with his measures of classroom management. If you're one of those students who asked stupid ass questions and likes to hear yourself speak I suggest you get it together and let others lear

I thought he was easy and interesting...until I found out that he does not practice what he preaches. He lost several of my assignments and penalized ME for it. In addition, I had to stalk him when I had questions and concerns about my grades in order to get a response. In the end, the problem was fixed, but the hassle made me nauseous.
