Great teacher. I don't think she likes me, but the fact that her grading and teaching skills are on point, makes her classes worth while. Highly recommend taking any of her classes because you learn a lot and she actually pushes you. Don't be scared!

Dr. Martella is great! Go to class, do your homework, don't speak while she's speaking, and show respect for your fellow classmates. If you do those things, you're going to have no problem with this class. She wants to help, so ask questions when you don't understand something.

Very condescending and rude. Loves to put you on the spot and make you uncomfortable. Doesn't like it when you are having small side conversations during down time or if you yawn or stretch while she is speaking! Seems nice... as a lady, not a professor.

Definitely the best Spanish professor I have taken at WOU compared to many of the others. I find her class to be a bit difficult; you definitely need to study for the tests! Overall a really nice professor who wants her students to succeed and actually learn something.

Dr. Martella is fairly easy once you understand how she operates. She does not like to be interrupted or have side conversations going on. Pay attention to the vocab she has written on the board and read the stories she assigns. Homework is not graded but will be on test.

Dr. Martella is unwilling to help her students. She can be very rude to the class. You will fail if you miss more than five of her classes. She is a very negative person and will scold the entire class constantly when assignment/tests are returned. she likes to set her class up to fail.

Dr. Martella is an exceptional professor. She speaks at a moderate speed and is kind, understanding, willing to work with you, and very approachable. DO THE HOMEWORK and study the vocab from class that she writes on the board and you'll do fine. Overall, a wonderful class and professor.
