He is a really nice and likable person, but I think he was sometimes a little presumptuous in thinking that I knew what he was talking about all the time! If you take PHYS 180 - go into it with a background. I took it pass/fail and did fine, but I found his lectures to be understandable by science majors only.

He's a great Prof. PHYS 180 is really difficult for students like me who don't have any prior knowledge (or math skills!) but that's my own fault. He is friendly, easy to listen to, and genuinely passionate which his lectures. Definitely worth taking his class, provided that you have an understanding of physics. Otherwise, he may seem too quick

Professor Moore is spectacular! Classes are always fun and interesting. Loves to do demonstrations that involve inhaling helium... Will spend lots of time helping you with assignments outside of class.

entertaining, dynamic, fun classes. they go by real quick because they're so interesting... easy class if you are familiar with math/physics, and if not, not hard as he walks you through all assignments - all step by step. Broad introduction to various topics in physics too.

Best class all semester. Hes funny and teaches with ease and will always help you. Does require some math and physics. But Moore is a blast. I recommend highly!

This class is super interesting, and he has a lot of fun teaching it, and it really shows. Live demostrations in class, making beeps buzzes and honking horns. If you are bad at math / basic physics then you might not want to take it.
