Comment:
Harry Stein is a knowledgeable professor. He gives an easy homework assignment each week but the end of semester project is tremendous. The final requires even more work. I'd be leary to suggest this class to someone who isn't a business or history major. Especially engineers. The balance of schoolwork is completely the last 2 weeks of semester.

This guy is old, but very funny. You get a ton of handouts, so you will need to stay organized. The workload isn't so bad, just show up, listen to him, and make sure he knows who you are.

Works hard to make sure you remember and understand the material. Only need the textbook for the end of the semester project. You do a lot of busywork but it boosts your grade.

He is quite the character to say the least. Cares more about preaching his lessons than students success. Interesting lectures though (sometimes)

A great teaching style that manages to convey great ideas and small details in an intuitive and crazy sort of way. Probably one of the best professors I've had, coming from someone with little interest in history and on top of that, is an adjunct. He teaches you like you're in kindergarten, but it works.

He talks the entire class. If you ask a question about he will rarely answer it. If you are confused about an assignment he doesn't help if you approach him outside of class. He doesn't have a grading policy, he literally says he'll grade you on what he thinks you deserve. NEVER TAKE HIM.

What a crazy man. This guy will have you buggin out. Weird and unusual methods of teaching but it's kind of fun. Work load isn't hard at all. Isn't an easy A, he'll make you work for it. The final is nuts - 6 essay questions. Take him, pay attention to everything he says, read what he tells you to, and you'll be fine. You'll learn a lot.

This was by far the worst class I have ever taken. While Stein knows a lot about the topic, he does not convey it well. You leave with about 100 papers each day, none of which aid in learning. He picked on me the entire semester, and made me feel stupid during every class. My recommendation: don't take the class. I didn't learn anything.

A mad-man. has an extremely different teaching style that leaves you clueless. a brilliant man, but cannot connect with students to save his life. hands out papers like it's his job, and they are extra large sized. if he thinks you are smart, he gives you more work and grades you harder. i dont recommend.

Really intelligent guy. Very unique teaching ethic. Big on learning through communication and expanding the mind. Kills 90 trees for handouts per class. Everyone in class has to take part in each class. No exams - honestly don't feel like I learned a thing.

CRAZY! He has a unique teaching approach, but not many students can follow it. Lots of handouts and class presentations. Can get extremely annoying.
