This was a well-structured class. There are 4 projects that are very doable. She provides a practice exam for each exam that you can work through to study. If you show up to class and pay attention/participate you should do very well in this class!

Ward is extremely kind but as a teacher, she was lacking. I didnt get anything out of the lectures and the homework was pointless. Exams were a massive part of our grade and worded so poorly is was difficult to get a decent grade. I felt little effort was put into teaching the class which was sad bc most students had tried extremely hard to pass.

While Professor Ward is very nice & sweet, teaching is not her strong suit. Her lectures and homework are pointless. I don't think I learned a single thing in her class. She likes to waste paper by passing out a lot of useless handouts. Most quizzes are done with a group. Two tests and a cumulative final. Her wording makes the tests very hard.

Idk how she got such a high rating. If you don't know the subject before going in, u won't pass. HW is graded for completeness bc she doesn't care, cut exam time to 1hr, never went over the exams when everyone failed, rambles all the time, pointless group project, never answers Qs, no EC, Lectures/book/HW/study guides/tests do not match up AT ALL.

Her class was basically pointless. If you have a question she will not answer it and make you feel stupid. She honestly has no idea what she is saying when it comes to math. Her directions are very unclear. We also had a group project presentation in math.

Math is not my favorite subject but Professor Ward gives a lot of help and clarity. Pay attention in class, do the practice exams, do your homework and Ask Questions!!!! You should pass as long as you put in the effort.

Professor Ward is a BEAST. Took this class 2 semesters ago and now going to take precal with her in Spring! Make sure you don't miss class, do your homework (helps tremendously), and just pay attention. She also goes over material before a test making sure everything's clear. Only way you'll fail is if you don't take this class seriously.

She is so cute and fun! The projects are fun. As long as you go to class, you should be fine. You pretty much never have to do work out of class, so unless you ditch you won't have to work. She is super easy about turning things in late so you should get an A no prob.

Very easy class. She gives you really fun and unique projects to do, and you really do learn a lot from it. If you win the first competition, she gives you a membership to NCTM! Overall, she is very nice and patient, and will help you throughout any struggle you have, personal or with the class! Definitely take it!!

Easy class. Easy A if you do all your work and don't slack off too much. She's a little annoying though. Sometimes you just want to work and she talks and talks. She's got a little bit of a Nanny Fran voice. But plug your ears, do your work, and you'll be fine.

Good explanations for all the assignments. Assignments are really easy but she is a tough grader so slacking off won't work. great teacher and learned a lot. good prep class for teaching!

GOOD!!! NICE!!!! WONDERFUL!!!! BEAUTIfUL!!!! She does not only give u equations, but she provides so many examples. Just follow what she writes on the board, then soon u will understand what the calculus is all about~~
