Awesome econ professor that has a sense of humor. She is very nice and understanding one of my favorite classes. I would take this class again definitely.

She's an awesome professor and you can tell she knows her stuff. But she lacks on emailing back and updating grades. Me personally I hate working with groups but she lets you apart from them if you want. She also teaches 11 other classes, so keep that in mind.

Comment:

Best professor I have taken at NEIU. Extremely helpful and informative. If you do the work and she sees the effort you will get a good grade. Lenient on attendance. Homework is straight forward from the book. Research paper and group project and paper explained very well with plenty of time given to complete and succeed.

Professor ward is awesome. She made her class simple and very proactive in terms of learning! Her teaching style is amazing because it's simple but yet you learn more than you've ever learned or known before. I left this class knowing a lot simply by her lectures. 3exams and online homework, very sweet professor and extremely nice! I'll miss her!

In my opinion, this professor is one of the best. She presents power points without just reading what's on the slides. She speaks clearly, and writes good on the board unlike some teachers where you are unsure whether you see an equation or a sentence on the board. Overall, one of the best professors.

Professor Ward is an awesome teacher. She is very kind and funny and makes Econ fun actually. She uses simple math unlike other Econ teachers. 3 tests plus weekly online homework which is not hard to pass. Sign in sheet is taken every class but her lectures are interesting and really helpful for the tests.

This is the fourth times that I took her class including this fall semester. She is the BEST BEST professor in NEIU! She is always helpful and nice. Iam planning to take her class next semester.

Will learn a lot out of the class. She is a fair grader. You WILL need to read the book and do the HW online. Sign in sheet will be passed around. Her lectures are amazing and very interesting. She is really good at using example from real life business world which makes is clearer and easy to understand.

She is a kind professor and is very savvy. She grades with a grading scale where 85+ is an A, 75+ a B, and so on. If she says that she will curve the grade, do not believe her. She "uses" the bell curve which does nothing. All the work was online. 70% of grade was HW and 30% final. I don't recommend her.

Professor Ward was an easy teacher...her tests come right off the powerpoint. I never opened the book, but everything came straight off the powerpoint. The hard part is the online homework which counts for 20% of your grade and 4 tests count for 80%. I never went to class and still got an A and now you can listen to her lectures online easy A

HER CLASS IS BORING, BUT YOU REALLY HAVE TO PAY ATTENTION IF YOU WANT TO PASS THE EXAMS. THERE'S 4 EXAMS, 1 WITH THE GROUP SHE ASSIGNS YOU. THE REST OF THE TEST ARE ALL MULTIPLE CHOICE. SHE CURVES THE RESULTS ON THE EXAMS EVEN THOUGH HER GRADING SCALE IS LOW.

You don't really need to show up to class that often. 3 things are graded in this class: midterm, final, homework (which is all done on some online website). HW counts for 50% of your grade, so make sure you do it. I didn't learn much, all I wanted was the grade. Class is a really easy A, which is only 85% btw.
