Worst professor ever! The tests are impossible and it's so hard to follow his lectures. I have no idea where he even gets the test questions from because it's mostly stuff not covered in class or in the textbook. He talks about alcohol, sex, and tells inappropriate jokes all the time. Do yourself a huge favor and avoid taking this class with him.

This class is seriously so hard! His tests are so tough, you can study for hours and still do bad! He gives you homework things that are worth points and the final is suppose to be 2/3 of the first 2 test but it really isn't. if your good at geography and know random geography facts then you'll do good in the class.

Don't take GEO315. The classes are the MOST BORING EVER. He makes weird comments, and is not very unclear about his assignments, and his grading is just a letter, no point system or rubric! The only good thing about this class is that we didn't need a textbook.

WORSE PERSON IN THE WORLD!!!! hated him, i even went to class and TRIED to take class... basically, find someone who already took him and has the tests and maps. actually, dont take him at all unless you have to. he thinks he is funny and tries to teach but can't because he does it from the top of his head, no book. should be fired.

If this is a mandatory class for you (aka ed. majors) TAKE ANOTHER PROF. Unclear, makes lots of sexual jokes and the only time people come to class is when there is a test or an assignment. Do the maps and just read the book, he doesn't really help the class.

He was funny at times! He was interesting to listen to every now and again. Read the book. I hear you should try to find a friend in a previous semester and get there old test to study from... questions change slightly but give you a good idea of what to know. Do the maps!!! They are not just 5 points... they are 5% of total grade = each!

Rather a fun course.Write a lot of summary's, 2 big papers, presentation on islands at the end. Not a test guy, so his tests are his papers. The assignments are the summary's and maps. From the Caribbean so increases your knowledge well. A funny guy, just real low key. If you go to class more than once or twice every 3 weeks I would be suprised.

Three things you must do to get a C or higher in his class are; 1. Attend Class(try not to fall asleep to often although it is hard) 2. Maps(he wont give you another copy if your not their on the day he passes it out, so grab your friends map and go to staples and get it copied) 3. My worst professor yet! I can not believe how unperfessional and unknowledgable this man was! He does not know his facts and he does not care enough about his class, I got B's on my mini assignments and failed all my tests because he will never look at them.
