Rich is a nice guy, but as a professor I felt that he did not do enough for students. We had to label a pig in lab and it was not helpful at all. It was honestly a waste of time because you cannot decipher parts of the pig. But as long as you show up to class and go to his review sessions, you will be fine.

His lectures are straightforward, but he goes really fast since they're all PowerPoint. He is only sympathetic to students involved in sports and definitely favors them. He is strict on deadlines, unless you're in sports. He won't let you make up a test, unless you're in sports. Doesn't care if you have a personal issue or something comes up.

Awesome professor! Honestly, just show up to class and do what he says and it's an easy A. His tests are straight from lecture material and are straight forward with no trick questions. Diagram labeling is also a piece of cake. For lab he gives you plenty of time to dissect your cat also! There is plenty of extra credit opportunities & he's helpful

Nice. Seemed like a mean guy at first, but learned he is very nice and sympathetic in person. Willing to go out of his way to help you get the grade. Not always the best at pronouncing things though, but then again we all have flaws...right?
