She's a bit rude & would sometimes say inappropriate stuff. If you don't think like she does, which is like a hippie and free-spirited she gets kinda annoyed. She can be fine one second and the next turn into Hulk if you piss her off. She's also an exceptionally hard grader. She also loves camels, so talk about them.

I really did not enjoy her as a professor. As the head of the honors college she is great, but as a professor not so much. I am going to cut her some slack though because she took on our advanced elective after our old professor could not teach it anymore.

I have never taken a class with Dr. Digby, but I am here to warn people against enrolling in the honors college, which Digby runs! It is a biased system that caters to student athletes only and leaves all others out in the dust. It is not worth the time, energy or work it requires!

Wonderful Teacher who speaks depths about literature. Good if you enjoy writing. Must pay attention in her class. Very comical and has unique assignment ideas. Did a semester long research paper for Honors English with her and I found a new interest in a topic I didn't care about before. Gifted and Intelligent.

Digby is a real character- a little insane and loves horses. Overall she makes classes interesting and is very funny. On off days she lets me doodle or even go on my phone, solid choice.

Makes you feel really dumb. You will be re writing papers over and over if they aren't done exactly her way. Meanwhile, you won't even know how she wants the paper done because she NEVER gives clear directions. Although it is nice that she gives the opportunity for a rewrite she will make you feel terrible about your paper in the process.

I'll be honest: her class made me withdraw from Honors, but than again I was still adjusting to college life. I still think I made the right decision though. Honors English wasn't for me. She's a lovely lady though who truly cares about what's best for the students. Just be prepared to work if you take her.

Loved her! She was very enthusiastic about the class and kept everyone on top of her assignments. She is a hard grader though sine she's an English genius grammar and punctuation in essays are essential to getting a good grade in her class.

Dr.Digby is my FAVORITE PROFESSOR! I know most people find her intimidating but if you get to know her you will soon realize how much of a guidance to your life she will be. Her class was fairly easy if you read the material. She asks for participation and a few papers which she will let you re-write numerous times to achieve way better grades.

EXTREMELY knowledgeable on British Literature -- if you are interested in literature you will love her, she has SO much to offer! Easy to get along with, great sense of humor. However, she has no patience for people who try to jerk her around or slack off in class. Great prof and person!

Not only does she KNOW her stuff, but she encourages you to know it too, in your own unique, individual way. People fear her because she has a vested interest in their success and more importantly, their happiness within the college itself. She tries to elicit student participation and even allows undergraduates to run grad-style seminars.The best!

She means well and she is a very intelligent woman. She does give you a reading every night, but some of them are funny and interesting. Anyway drop this class if you dont like to read. She's not too hard of a grader you just need to read her assignments, if you dont, you will fail!. It's college though some classes are going to be really hard.

If you have a strong command of the English Language and at least a base interest in literature, you will not have any problems. Likes to experiment with impromptu writing. Gives opportunities to improve grades through paper revisions. Offers extra credit when the opportunity arises. Expects a lot from students b/c she's the chair of Honors College
