She's an awesome professor! She does assign homework but it's extremely easy and requires you to do the absolute bare minimum, half of it is personality tests. Class is mandatory and you have to be on time. Participate and you'll be fine. She is very lenient on due dates and gives a lot of time for homework. She wants everyone to succeed.

It's ideal if you take this class during your Freshman year. It's a 1 credit class that comes with a huge load of work. If you are someone really motivated, patient and enthusiastic to learn what's next and even after your 4-year degree this class will prepare you for sure. Just go with the flow, do the work then you have nothing to worry about.

Her whole class was her yelling about success and herself. She gives extra credit but any small thing can completely stop those points. She assigns something every class and doesn't give clear directions although it is graded loosely. She wrote the book yourself. It was a half a semester and seemed much longer. She liked to have speakers come in.

I don't understand the complaints from some of the people on here. I took this class with her and loved it! She's funny, passionate, and compiles a lot of sources of info to make sure she's giving us good information! She does make you work for a grade-I recommend checking the online homework site daily. But pay attention/show up you'll do great!!

To give you some perspective, we were graded on about 70 assignments, both online and in class, though we only met in class roughly 35 times. It is extremely tedious busywork that is easy, but nearly irrelevant. Be ready to be treated like an 8-year-old. If you can take ANY of your required course with someone else, I strongly advise you to do so.

This is one of the big class that is held in the big auditorium in Steward Hall, consisting over 150+ students. Students are divided into groups based on what year they are and each group has at least 1 of 2 TA to take attendances. My TA was not helpful at all. Your grade is based solely on you, depends on how many activities you work for it.

I think she has good intentions but the class is super boring. There is homework due every week, but it's not hard. Sometimes she comes off a bit harsh, but it's never for completely unsupported reasons. She can be a bit traditional in her views but not anything terrible. She could be a far worse professor

She is very pushy with her outdated perception on the business world. She has terrible peer advisors that have attitude with everything they say. Too much work for a 1 credit class. I would recommend taking it with another professor if you can.

3 papers, 3 out of class activities, two really hard tests, and weekly assignments that get really long towards the end. All for a one credit class, one day a week. This professor is very egotistical about her supposed business environment expertise.

This is a class about business, not your chance to push your liberal agenda. Bashing our president, Trump, and pushing for gun confiscation IS NOT your course material. Either stick to the curriculum or leave teaching.

Soroko doesn't seem to register that it's a one credit class meant to help students with stuff like their resume and networking skills. She approaches this like a 4 credit class complete with tests, papers, out of class activities, and homework. Not to mention that she stresses stuff that's irrelevant or outdated in the modern business world.

Soroko puts way too much on the students in this class. It is one credit class and there is way too much homework, out of class activities, and busy work. You are not really allowed to miss a class and she is very strict. Her view on the business world is different than i have experienced in many interviews, and internships.

Soroko is a very my way or the high way, holier than thou, know it all, kind of professor. Hefty work load for a one credit class, and most of it is dumb, busy work. Her class has some helpful aspects too it, but it's mostly just her saying if you don't do x this exact way, you'll be unemployed for the rest of your days.

She fathoms herself and her class far more important than she or the class actually is. A lot of requirements, assignments, papers, and tests for a one credit, one day a week class. This professor really just rubs you the wrong way, too. Just attitude and approach to this whole class. She's really hard to like. At least the course material is free.

I only gave her a 5 on difficulty because it is way too much work for a 1 credit class. the class is useful, and I would recommend it if you want help with your career and resume. Her lectures are very boring. If you skip 2 times, you can only get a C. The quizzes are extremely difficult, and some of the questions are not in the book.
