Comment:

If you have an opportunity to switch out of Johns class, do it. First off, he does not lecture, he assigns a bunch of homework and takes up maybe half of it during class. Thats it. You have to teach yourself the material. He also randomly picks on, and is rude to people which can trigger anxiety and unnecessary discomfort, and tension in the class

I d like him a lot. He has an interesting teaching style. It's based around taking up homework question and he teaches by using that. Do his work and pay attention to what he says (I made the mistake of not doing most of the homework). Pretty funny and really entertaining regardless or whether or not you like accounting.

Nice teacher. Explains well. His exams are very very fair. The multiple choice are super easy. He has no power points. Instead he spends all the time taking up homework questions. which is a good thing.

Attending class is useless all he does it take up HW. However, in his attempt to force attendance he does not post answers to HW questions. Still never attended class got a A-. There are better Accounting professors, but he is not bad just not good.

He is interesting, and funny. You must read each chapter and do almost all the homework questions to get a good grade. All he does is take up the homework, no slides or lectures. He nails the key concepts into your brain. You must attend class!

Here's the thing: he's excellent prof, but his lectures will be reviewing the homework. You have to read on your own and you will have to attempt the homework before class. Class will typically start with him asking if you had trouble with any of the questions and he will then complete the ones people had difficulty with through participation

This prof does NOT lecture, instead, all he does is take up homework questions that he has assigned. This may be good, but it does not help me. You NEED to do your homework or else you WILL not be able to keep up. Also, he marks pretty hard.

Yes he does pick on ppl a lot. In fact, he makes sure he calls upon everyone during the class. But this just makes sure that everyone is paying attention and doing their work. His teaching is very "hands on," not like the usual lecture. It makes it very easy to understand the concepts. Overall, he's an amazing prof and you should def take his class

So hes a good guy and will help you when needed but will drive you nuts...he tends to repeat things over and over and over again...alll you get in his class is lots of questions and thats that he does not allow you to talk and it willl drive you up the wall because he will always stop you and say "name do not rob the rest of teh class of your ques"
