Comment:

Literally the worst teacher I have ever had. She was rude, unempathetic, and unwilling to actually teach and help me. When I asked her questions she wouldn't answer them and would just refer me to a tutor. Technical difficulties are only okay for her and no one else and she does not give a crap about her students success.

Comment:

Professor Moore is very energetic and her lectures are clear, straightforward, and make Calculus fun. My only criticism is that she isn't always very respectful to students (though I could be misinterpreting her tone of voice as angry/annoyed when that's not her intention). But if you put forth the effort, you won't have any issues.

Comment:

I loved Professor Moore! She never failed to make me laugh and make class enjoyable. She goes over HW questions before lectures, she spends a lot of time on it then tends to lecture quickly, so pay attention. There were HW copy quizzes after each lesson and as long as you do your HW you will be fine. Just study and ask questions! Great prof!

Prof Moore is the best math teacher that I have ever had. Her passion for the material made the class material easy and I even changed my major to data science after taking her - she really opened my eyes!

Shes awful. She makes you grade your own work and never puts your grades in the grade book. Shes not easily accessible. She wont answer your emails because she doesnt check them regularly. She doesnt use her time right and rushes through teaching. If you dont understand what she taught in class then youre on your own. Dont take her class!!

Took this class at UofM first and failed it. I took this class as a seven week course at GRCC and this prof managed to make the material make sense. I was a little put off by her passion at first, but I found that her dedication and excitement made calculus more enjoyable. Grades tough, but fair. Wish I could take her again but I am DONE with math!

Hated it so much. She spent every class period lecturing about stuff I already knew & if you were working in ALEKS, she would freeze everyone's screen. There's only one day that you can retake tests per test & if you miss it, you can't retake it, even if you're really sick. If you ask someone something, she'll yell at you, even if it's about math.

I love this teacher! She's honest and will tell it to you STRAIGHT. Her class uses ALEKS which I don't like at all, but she makes it better. Some students don't like her personality, but I think that their slackers and just dont do the homework when she asks. I wish I could take her for all of my math classes!!!

She is so mean in my opinion, I have her online class and she told me its not an online class but I spent $93 on the access code for the online stuff & she told me to drop out pretty much because of my anxiety.

I'm honestly so confused on why "100% would take again" This was by far the worst math class I have ever taken. She is very obnoxious and swears all the time. She also has no grades in as of right now and it's already November. School started in August. When students would ask what there grade was, they would need to calculate it them self.

LOVE LOVE LOVE her! She's a spitfire and a fast talker but she explains things in terms I understand. I barely passed 107 and passed this course with a B. Teaching style matters!! Definitely not a class you want to take hungover because she is INTENSE! but it kept me intrigued and present and actually not hating math for once.

She is a great math mind. Be ready to put a lot of time in to learn the material. She is tough but you will actually learn a lot. On the final exam you get to use a cheat sheet. Homework is not graded but you have to do it in order to pass her tests, and quiz questions are taken directly out of the homework. I would take her again for math

I love Professor Moore! She is so intelligent and witty and able to command a classroom of crazy college kids. Her teaching style can be fast-paced, but she takes time to go over homework problems with you. She is obviously very dedicated to her job and is appreciated because of it.

Julia is by far the greatest math professor at GRCC. She goes over homework and then lectures the rest of class. It's a hard class, so be ready to work, but if you ask questions and put in the time, you'll walk out of the semester with awesome math skills! She has a great personality and makes class fun! Don't even think about using your phone.

Julia was a really great teacher to have. If you try in the class and make sure to not procrastinate on things like homework or revision, you'll do fine. Make sure to listen carefully, as the entire test is more or less given as slight variations on homework and example problems. She offered at least 5-10pts of extra credit every test.

Prof. Moore is probably the best math teacher I've ever had. She will give you the grade you deserve, no more and no less. She gives you the best opportunity for success with great notes and lectures. Very helpful. Test questions are almost exactly the same as example problems in notes. Don't miss a single review day!

Prof. Moore is the best math teacher I ever had. She's hilarious and really tries to teach and prepare students for tests. Expect A LOT of homework. I went through 1 1/2 notebooks of paper doing homework. HW itself is not graded, but she will take random HW questions and make you copy your work and answers for quizzes. Would recommend to anyone.

I loved taking Professor Moore's class! She was honestly one of the best professors I've had at GRCC, and only wish that she taught more classes. She explains concepts very well, and answers any questions you could have. I also had a lot of family stuff going on when I took the class, and she was very understanding. Plus her tattoo is sick!
