professor Harer is one of the best English teachers I've had! She is super enthusiastic about teaching and she helps out with any question that you may have. I've learned so much from her and her feedback helps you out a lot!

Katherine Harer was the BEST teacher I have ever had. She was extremely caring, interactive, didn't let people get away with anything, and everyone seemed to love the class. It was fun, based on a theme (for mine it was racial issues) and she is passionate.

Professor Harer will be one of the kindest people that youll ever meet in your life. She really cares about her students and will go above and beyond to help you. Make sure to do all of the written and reading assignments in this class and youll be fine. She is also very funny, inspiring, and will try her best to make the class enjoyable!

Mrs. H is one of the greatest professors I experienced. She has great experience in her field. She teaches the class with such enthusiasm, it just makes your day to go to class. I actually acquired a great respect for literature, she picked great material, We did a lot of writing, but I benefited and my writing skills improved a great deal.

LOVE Katherine! Seriously one of the best English teachers. The essays weren't too bad because her topics are really good and relevant. Such a kind soul and bubbly woman. She's really helpful but you have to keep up with the journals and assignments for essays. Not super easy but the topics and book we read are really interesting!

She is an amazing teacher. Some students can't handle adult criticism, so she can come off as harsh if you think everything you produce is gold. Very enthusiastic. She constantly works to get less motivated students back on track. She loves participation, and punctuality. Loved this class!

She has a lot of enthusiasm and personal interest in what she teaches. Very honest and straight with the kids. Plays favorites, though. Classes are presented in potentially engaging ways, but generality sometimes leads to confused discussion, then off-topic matters. Not the best but defiantly not the worst

Great english teacher! Challenges you as a writer but you do learn alot. All homework is relevent to essays so its a good idea to get all your homework done. Shes really good at picking books that you would be interested in reading. Definately recommend her!

Pros: She makes her English 100 course feel like a creative writing class that revolves around the environment. She's energetic. Articles are descriptive and fun to read. Cons: Puts students down when she's not please with them.

Let me warn you now, if you want the pure english literature experience, don't take her. She's a huge nature nut and she pushes her nature brainwashing on you. I was convinced that I was in some environment class. Heck, one of the two main books you must buy is called eaarth. 1st essay, go to the beach and write about your experience?!

Mrs. H was the best engl tearcher I've ever had,she cares so much about her students and about the material she teaches!She is a passionate teacher.Downside is she is a tough grader. I recieved A's on all except one paper and participated a lot yet I missed 4 days of class so my grade was brought down to a B. She is tough b/c she loves to teach!

First thing I have to say, she picks favorites. If you aren't her favorite she tends to grade you really hard on your essays. Not a lot of homework, but homework grade doesn't help if your essays aren't good. Very sarcastic and too perky. Also, she says we can turn in homework late, but not essays.

Katharine changed my life. I went to college not knowing what I wanted to do and she helped me discover the writer inside of me. She introduced me to different ways to read and to write, and mostly she was open and welcoming of all talents and abilities, all creative minds. I loved her. She is an amazing teacher! I will never forget her.

Easiest class I've ever taken at Skyline. Nobody in the summer course got lower than an A. 4 Week Class for a 3 Unit A? You can't beat that deal as a quick GPA boost. Fun class. She's fairly lenient with homework tardiness, and somewhat with attendance. Sounds like her Eng 110 course is harder. Creative Writing is $ for an easy 3 Unit A

She is a good teacher. She knows her subject.If you have any grammar issues you MUST work to overcome them. She will not turn a blind eye to errors in your papers. You will do a lot of writing in her class; though much of it is short reading journals so it doesn't seem like much until you see the stack of papers at the end of the semestar.
