Taking this class with Dr. D is the best thing you could do for yourself if you're interested in taking the MCAT. She's incredibly smart and makes protein pathways interesting and memorable. Usually available several times a week for office hours. Genuinely nice person.

Professor DeCicco was by far one of the best AU lecturers I have had. She knows the information very well and can answer any question imaginable. Biology classes are very dense in information. However, she is very good at focusing the material on the big picture and the information needed for the MCAT and upper-level biology courses.

Katie is the best professor in the bio department. Her lectures are clear and thorough, and she is super sweet and always willing to help. Test were easy, just make sure you complete her study guide! So far cell bio has been my favorite class. I wish Katie taught more upper level bio classes. Bottom line: TAKE THE CLASS!!

She is extremely nice! However, that doesn't mean her class is great. It's tough. Tests are SO difficult. I stay up all night everytime, and still do not get to cover everything! Very nice and helpful lady - especially during office hours.

By far, the best course I have taken at AU. She is very animated and interesting. She helps people see the "bigger picture" by relating everything back to diseases. She let us make movies as a final project instead of term papers. She is hard, but super nice. I rocked the MCAT, and I think that she is a big reason why.

Very boring and difficult class. At 8:30 in the morning, she speaks in monotone. Half the class falls asleep. Tests are impossible. You can only get an A if you memorize all of the useless info verbatim. Everyone will tell you she's "nice" but they "hate her tests." Sorry, but "nice" doesn't cut it when my GPA comes into the picture.

Best professor in the BIO Dept. Always wants to help students improve and maximize their points on all assignments, while making sure we learn whats necessary. Labs are fun and easy. By far my favorite Professor at AU. Should have no problem getting tenure :-)
