Comment:

I loved this class and this prof. My favourite class at STU because it was so interesting. If your interested in counselling or clinical psychology at all, take it. Michelle can be feisty but she is very sweet and caring and she'll do anything to help you. I know some people find her marking difficult, but if you work hard you'll be fine.

Comment:

The best teacher I've ever had. She makes the class lively and funny but still makes it easy to understand and prepares you well for most of the exam questions - the rest is in the textbook. She gives great guidance and even has an APA style workshop, which most profs wouldn't do.

I absolutely loved her. Sweet as a button, kindest soul youll ever meet, always smiling and happy to see you. Her lectures are fascinating and easy to understand. Shes passionate about her field and its clear to see. Always ready to help you and checks in with students. Textbook is somewhat mandatory but you can get by without it for sure.

By far my favourite Prof @ STU. Highly reccommend her to any first year taking the intro to psyc class. She is easy to understand, gives good examples, makes class fun to go to. You can tell she is very passionate about the work she does!!

Greatest professor so far. She carefully try in every way to make things easy to understand. Funny. Just need to go to her lectures and you already understand every concepts that you need to know. Barely test anything out of what she has covered. The class is very well organized.

Dr. Lafrance is the sweetest professor ever!!! She goes above and beyond to make sure all students understand the material and explains concepts very well. Shes such a nice prof with very reasonable expectations, no final exam also! I would definitely take another class with her as the prof!

I love Michelle--she's a GEM! Psychology is not even my intended major, but I miss her lectures (& her) very much. She gives excellent feedback and wants her students to succeed. Although she is not an easy marker, she will answer any questions you may have. If you have the option of taking one of her classes, please do so! You will not regret it!

I love her so much! Easy class during a transfer from high school classes to university lectures. Slides are very easy to follow and she is hilarious. Really takes time to get to know her students.

Her lectures are so much fun! She is funny, and enthusiastic. Her tests are pretty easy as long as you study. She gives good feedback if you bring her drafts of your paper. Would recommend.

Michelle Lafrance is amazing. She is so enthusiastic and passionate about psychology that its hard to not pay attention in the class. She is makes clear what she expects of you and as long as you read the textbook it's not a hard class. I strongly recommend her!

A teacher that knows her subject, as all psych profs should. She's very bubbly and open, and cares about her students' progress. She can be biased with her opinions, but doesn't let it get in the way of her grading. I didn't even have my book for this course, but if you love psych, buy it. Good for beginners. It was a privilege to be in her class.
