Davis is a really phenomenal professor. I took him for the core Business Law course, and his class was great. He goes out of his way to accomodate you and brings a lot of great energy to the class. He'll call you to help you work through things one on one. Tests are stressful since they're almost one-to-one with your course grade, but highly rec!

He is the absolute best. Works his hardest to make the subject interesting and to make students laugh. Graded by midterm and final, but they are open book. Do study a little for the exam to be sure you get an A. You have to prepare ungraded summaries of the book chapters, which help understand the material and can bring your grade up at the end.

Business Law I & II- Davis makes business law interesting and entertaining. You find yourself engaged and actively learning material that otherwise would be pretty dry. Not a professor who assigns busy work or wastes your time in class, he fills the class time with a lot of information but in a way that is easy to digest. Definitely Recommended

He uses simple but funny examples to explain law concepts in class. You really need to understand every single one coz the exam is exactly the same. But if you want to fight for a A+, I mean full grades, you need to read the textbooks which he said in class explains the law issue super well.

Professor Davis is very engaging and makes business law as interesting as possible, especially for someone who had no interest in the subject beforehand. Coursework for the intro business law class is minimal - a midterm and final exam that is not cumulative. Exams are open note, but make sure you understand all the concepts beforehand.

This was by FAR my most interesting course last semester. Prof. Davis takes material that could be quite dry (like the textbook) and makes it really interesting. He obviously puts a lot of thought into making the information enjoyable. I would print out the slides beforehand and take notes on them. Tests are open note and you can use them.

You will certainly work if you want to get an "A". No homework, just readings. Class is lively, and really interesting. Prof Davis is great, although sometimes a bit moody. Doesn't use 100 Pearson slides, but speaks from experience, and makes class fun.

Take good notes and you'll be fine. The stories/examples not only keep you awake, but they help you understand the information - which is good, there is a lot of material for this course (nature of the course, not necessarily the professor). You will not regret taking Davis.

He is a great professor, and really goes the extra mile to make class interesting. I had planned on just taking Law I, but after seeing that he also taught Law II, I took that with him also. Test are straight from the notes, which are all open notes. Don't buy the text, he says he wants you to take notes from the text but never checks them

Prof Davis is AWESOME. By far the best teacher I have had at Fordham. His lectures and very interesting and he really cares about the students learning the material. Make sure you attend all classes & take great notes - and you will do fine on the midterm and final. They are tricky but if you pay attention in class its possible to get an A.

Great, but tough professor. Gives a mid-term & final, both worth 1/2 your grade. Definitely go to class, tests are based on the lectures. This is not an easy A, but you will get a lot out of it. He does a great job in keeping class interesting & cares that students learn (it's nice he learns every students' names unlike other Fordham professors)
