Comment:

Laurie is so kind and always willing to help her students. This class offered a lot of clinical observations & clinical writing skills. Her grading criteria is not explained well so I would make sure to ask her before turning assignments in. All she wants is for her students to succeed and she is very easy to talk to and ask questions to.

Laurie is an expert in aphasia. She is extremely helpful, kind, and all around wonderful teacher and person. The class is not easy but I learned SO much! Loved this class!

Comment:

Laurie Bahlke is so nice. She emails you information ahead of time and always tells you your due dates. There are a lot of assignments in the course. I feel as though the course itself didn't prepare me for CDO 495 or grad school, but that's not the teacher's fault. Try and get clinical hours BEFORE this class - it will help!

Laurie was a great teacher. I learned alot in this class. She would email us information ahead of time that we would need to know and she would also answer any questions that you might have to make sure you understand what's going on. This class will really help you set up for 495 as either a graduate or undergraduate clinician. Great Class!!

Laurie is wonderful as both a professor and supervisor. She gives you lots of helpful information and is always willing to answer questions. She is one of those professors that does whatever she can to make sure that her students reach their full potential. I wish she taught more classes!

She is a great Teacher! I had her on Friday mornings at 9am, the early time on Friday was not fun, but she made it fly right by. Her stories were very interesting. She gives a lot of material to keep which is helpful. The presentation is easy and fun.

two words: APHASIA PROJECT!! Wow, a pretty demanding class, if you do the work you'll be fine! She's a phenomenal teacher and a wonderful person! (i better get an A on my project now :)
