Mr Lester is a great teacher. He is very patient with his students and he is very understanding. He explains everything with great detail and he lets you know if any changes real quick. I wish he taught a higher level math because i would take him again in a heartbeat!

Let me tell something! If you dont like math and have to struggle with it. You best choice is Prof. Owens. He is the best, THE BEST math teacher you could have. He really care about students, he is hilarious, and a really nice teacher. He has his own teaching methods, they seem to be unusual, but they really work. Dont forget. Chose Prof. Owens.

I have struggled in math at all levels. I failed this class back in 2003 with another teacher so i was hesitant to take it again. Prof Owens has a way of teaching that is easy to understand. He make class fun and is very easy to talk to and ask for extra help. He made me feel confident that I could pass and I did. Great Personality and funny.

This professor is all thumbs up. Will help you after class. His methods are a little unusual but if you study them you will excel. He will always tell you to pause. This means to slow down and think. I will miss him.

I took the course twice before I had Professor Owens and didn't think I was going to pass. Well honey let me tell you, he's the truth! He brakes it down to where you understand. Professor has a wonderful personality and truly cares if his students pass. He deserves all the money and everything wonderful in life. I will never forget him!!!!

This is the best teacher Ive ever had in my life. Prof Owens makes math EASY. He makes it understanding for everyone. Ive never been good at math, always gotten bad grades until he taught me how to do math a way that is useful and understanding. He is so caring and respectful and deserves everything wonderful in the world. Amazing human and prof.

I didn't have Professor Owens as an instructor but, I respect him so much for taking his time to help me understand the course mat. I was struggling in my Math course until I met him. He spent hours practicing with me and he also had a Math class everyone was welcomed to. The class was on Saturday's. I ended up passing the class. Thanks to him.

Prof. Owens doesnt believe in failure. He is super passionate about his work and tries so hard to make you understand math. He always makes time if you need help and opens his schedule up for you. As long as you study and listen to his teachings, you will pass. Ive always struggled in math. He made sure I understood and applied his methods.

Professor Owens, was a wonderful! Math is not my strongest subject. This was actually my 3rd time taking the class. And I passed with a B. The way he lays the class out and teaches is all for success. The only way youll fail is if you dont apply yourself, study, or come to class. I wish I had him for Algebra Concepts

Mr. Owens is a great Professor. His teaching methods are unorthodox but very effective. He makes sure you understand the material. He focuses more on doing the problem without the complex terms involved. He breaks it down in a way that is very easy to understand. Mr. Owens is approachable and very flexible

Professor Owens gave a great approach to how to successfully complete this course. His "On-Boarding" approach to teaching Algebra made the math so much more understandable. Get ready to jump into it because he teaches math his own way, and his website gives great step by step instructions on problem solving. He took me from an F to an A. Thank You!

Professor Owens, was THE best math professor i have ever had, he over exceeds any math teacher i've ever had in my lifetime. he gives every one a fair chance, because he knows himself that math is something you either get or you don't. his grading is fair & his help is above & beyond compare. you can tell he wants everyone's to understand & pass!

Professor Owens is by far the most amazing Elementary Algebra professor on CCC - Blackwood's campus. Pay attention, take good notes, and take him up on his availability in the event you have trouble and there should be no reason you don't end up with an A. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this professor!!!
