Maia says things on a daily basis that will absolutely blow your mind. She has such a unique way of looking at the world and has a pretty incredible knack for being able to get students thinking outside of the box. Great professor.

Maia is one of the few teachers who has impacted the lives of the students she teaches in deep seeded ways that continue to unfold even after they leave her class and graduate. A teacher like Maia is a gem in an institute and Guilford College is lucky to have her.

Maia rocks! She is a pistol; passionate, engaging, energetic,and really delightful! She can't keep still so you will probably be heading outside a lot of the time. One of the first weekends on campus she took our class to the Virginian mountains camping. She does give a lot of work, but she is really excited about helping you out! And she is fun!!

Maia is great! She is super energetic and very helpful. She rocks! I don't know anyone who doesn't like her. Her darkroom classes are a lot of work, but you can always re do your projects.

Good prof, definitely knows her stuff (which is worth looking at), helpful in terms of what you need to fix, how to get a good image, available to help, very high expectations of her students, this class is demanding of your time and effort (mostly in the darkroom), funny and interesting, explains things well
