Awesome teacher. He doenst take very much from the textbook but you do still need it. Very interesting lectures, hes a funny guy. I would reccomend it as a filler class though I learned more about myself then anything else. He was a very good teacher and easy to litsen to.

This class was not easy, but when you read always the chapter, then you have a chance for a good grade. The group presentation is a good chance to bring up your grade, as well as the Midterm (which was quite easy-can be done in your group). Nice instructor!

LOVEDDD HIMM. GREAT CLASS GUYS attendance mandatory cuz u needa feel out the ws everyday. quizes can b tricky but u just got read from dat chapter every week. so its an easy A yet not? well i got a B cuz i slacked off for da quizes. if u get a good group ur set for that semester. very inspirational. i wish every teacher can teach like him. Great teacher!I loved his style and ways of explaining things. This was a class where you actually learned about things related to the world around you. Small quizzes are done often but they are tricky and hard. The final project can be good if you get your work done. All around nice guy!

Good teacher, very knowledgable, but his Secretary marks everything for him. There is a group project worth 30% of your mark, you are stuck with this group the whole term. He assigns the group project the first day so people can start working on it right away, but he does this so you can get on each others nerves and fight with group memebers.

Teacher is very engaging, I was captivated at every class. Tests are quite hard and work hard in the group project and group test. All in all it was wonderful.

nice teacher, easy course. but really plan out your group midterm cuz its harder that u think. try to make your group presentation interesting, dont just do a power point, cuz thats wut everyone does. overall if your group works together u should get B or B+ easily.

you either gonna love this course or hate it. If u end up with a good group which everyone works hard and care about their mark, then u guys all gonna do well. Martin is a nice person and tries to make the class interesting but if you are a person who cant work in a group, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS.

This teacher needs to change his course structure. My group sucked and cost me my GPA, thus losing my chances of going to UBC. Now I have to stay an extra semester because of this BS. There needs to be a pre-requisite for this class: NO GOD DAMN HIGH SCHOOL KIDS AND NO LAZY BUMS!

im pretty sure its not the lazy students who complain about this course, its the good students, since they are the one who get the short end of the stick. i'm an A student and i got a B in this course becuase of my group, which really screwed my GPA. I regeret taking this course with this teacher, i rather just take busn 1210 & 3310 instead.

I don't know what everybody is complaining about, I just finished taking his course (OB) and I thought he was an awesome teacher. Very interesting speaker and all the tests and group project are very fair. I think students might have to lower there standards or stop being babies, because all around he's a great teacher!

Most of the class is based on group work and the thing is that most people have lives outside of school. No offence or anything but how the h** are you supposed to be a full time employee and student and meet with your group to do your group project. Not to mention that he never really tells you what he wants from the presentation.
