I regret taking this class. It's an elective so most of us are novices when it comes to music but he treats it like it should be easy for us. All my other classes combined don't require as much work as he does. With all the homework, daily quizzes, tests, listening activities, concert report, and writing assignments, just don't even bother.

Prof. Macmullen makes the chorus fun when students show up. Sometimes he likes to have fun in class depending on the song we sing and he would come up with great stories relating to it. He is most of the time happy to get students to sing which makes great rehearsals. If you like choral music, choose him.

This is one of the friendliest professors at PBSC. When I started chorus back in 2014 I thought he would be very strict, but then as I went through, he is not bad at all! All you just do is follow his directions and show up on time but for those who do not follow his directions and slack off will make him lose his patience and easy to anger him.

Great professor, as long as you show up in class and follow his instructions. He always wants people to look at the conductor, not down on the floor or down at your music on your laps. He may give lectures about misunderstanding things, but if you can get past that it will be fine!
