Comment:
Professor Piskulich is an absolute nightmare, the class itself is mostly common sense and easy but he treats it as if it is nuclear physics. Your final grade is determined mostly (67%) by two exams and a paper, this class will guaranteed drop your GPA. I had a 4.0 after 78 credits at OU and now it has dropped because of him, avoid at all costs!

I would not take this professor. His grading was based 25% on exam 1, 25% on exam 2, and 50% on a paper. He is a very hard grader on the paper, and it is very possible that it will drop your entire gpa

The class isn't hard but you only get three chances to make a grade. Two test and a paper. He's not very clear what he wants on the test or the papers. You won't be able to find some of the movies so you need to show up and watch them.

Your grade is made up of a midterm, final, and paper. He doesn't lecture; it's just class discussion. He isn't helpful at all with content or questions, but the class isn't hard. I didn't learn anything and found it tiresome to go to, but it's not like, the worst thing ever. But don't expect much.

Loved his stats class. Occasionally I was a little lost, and he made sure I (and everyone else!) understood the material before giving an exam. He has a great sense of humor, and I looked forward to going! If you're an easily-offended Republican, you might wanna pass, but he's an awesome guy!

Good instructor; takes his job seriously and obviously hopes to inspire a level of critical thinking - if you are looking for easy answers and power points, this might not be the class for you. Good discussions - respects differing opinions, allows plenty of time for student input.

Statistics class. Dr. P understands that statistics is NO ONEs favorite subject. He took it one day at a time and made sure the class understood the material. We used excel most of the time for the numbers. I guess it was easy because excel did all of the work.

Trolls the parking lot for students who don't look handicapped enough. Rats out students 2 cops. Class is dry, lacking content, talks about YouTube/Internet findings/Detroit Tigers then come time 2 grading papers and exams and he grades as if he's taught like a Harvard professor. What a joke. AVOID if you value your education.

Professor made this class more manageable. Was very clear on how to do statistics in lamens terms. Use of the book will help with the understanding of material. Really did not need to refer to it until the last two exams.

AVOID THIS CLASS! Prof is a nice guy but a poor teacher. He admitted several times that the semester did not go well. All tests are done in GROUPS which was terrible. I'm a PS major and retained nothing from this class, despite paying attention and doing all readings. Topics jumped all over the place. I've never learned so little.

Piskulich is awesome. He's cool, smart & never boring. But u have to read the material & take good notes as the tests are not a walk in the park. But the group learning helps & Piskulich makes the material enjoyable. It wasnt easy but I loved the professor

Extremely difficult class content, but if you attend class Pat will get you through it. I actually understood statistics and wasn't scarred anymore after leaving his class. I hate math and I made it through so anyone can!

Very difficult subject. Only has time for those students who actually know the content of the material. It's one thing to know information and it's another thing to relay that information for ALL the students to learn. Needed him to teach me, not me try to teach myself.

I was scarred when I first signed up for this class, but professor Piskulich made it way less painful. If you go to class and try he makes sure you understand the material. He goes slow and is always willing to help students out.

If you want to be spoon-fed information then hes not the prof for you. If you want to learn from a professor who knows and cares about the subject extremely well then take him. Not an easy grader, he doesn't hand out A's you earn them. I have him again next semester and would definitely recommend him if you're actually interested in learning.

PS 303 is not an easy subject to understand. However, he made it WAY less painful. As long you go to class, do the assignments, and participate a little...you'll be fine! The exams cover a lot but he is very understanding and fair.

Pat is a great guy. He's very helpful and knowledgeable. This class was pretty difficult, but Pat does his best to explain the material clearly. However, the tests are extremely difficult!!! Attendance isn't required, but basically if you miss a day or two your screwed.
