LOVE HIM! TAKE HIM! it is an easy arts class to take and he is super nice! he makes the deadlines and assignments very clear! he also offers lots of extra credit and is there to help you and make you succeed! he is the best! i would take him for any class! he is also very prompt with grading and replying to emails! loveee him!

I took this class online, and it was fairly easy. I had to read the entire textbook about 400 pages but on all my quizzes made excellent grades and on the 2 exams I made a 95 and a 100. 5 discussion boards and 17 chapter quizzes made up of 10 questions. I would recommend this class, good GPA booster as well as getting a fine arts requirement.

Took online during the summer. Dixon is very helpful and fast response to emails. Subject matter is interesting and relevant to today's music, iTunes was heavily discussed. 20% Quizzes, 20% Written assignments, 15% Discussion Boards, 20% Midterm, 25% Final. Midterm & Final are just repeat questions from quizzes.

I LOVED this class!! I took it online. Mr. Dixon was EXTREMELY helpful! If you ever had a question, he was there to answer! Make sure you know the vocab, and then study your quizzes and the study guide and you should get a 100 on the tests! I managed to get a 95% in the class! Just hand everything in on time and make sure to post in the discussion board!

I have done a dozen online classes, this was the BEST, most organized, and easiest Class I have ever taken. He is VERY helpful and makes it very fun. Everyone TAKE THIS NOW, if you don't make an "A" you should drop out of ECU. Mr. Dixon's class is awesome! You get to learn about people that are sill alive

I was really looking forward to taking this class. I had a great background in music, from playing instruments, to taking several music classes. I thought this class would be the same. While, you could work at your own pace, I referred to wikipedia.com more then the book, especially when it asked questions that weren't in the book!

Mr. Dixon's online music class is exceptionally well organized, and he stays very involved with it. You feel like you know him, even though you never see him face to face. He lays out all the assignments at the beginning, so you know exactly what is expected. Do the work, participate, take quizzes on time and you will do well. Great class!

He scared me at first. He acted kind of strict and acted like the class would be hard and a lot of work. Really was not so bad. I liked it. Best online class I have had. Extremely helpful. Just get your assignments done on time and in the correct way and you will be fine. I recommend him.
