I took Macroecon. with Ahmed. The class was extremely easy. TAKE NOTES WORD FOR WORD! I would advise bringing a laptop to type on because he writes a lot. Memorize his notes because the exams are the notes, word for word. Attendance isn't mandatory but he realized when someone wasn't there. If you're not going to be there, be sure to get the notes.

I had him for microeconomics, his notes are literally the grade. Attendance isn't necessarily mandatory but unless you have someone to get good notes from don't miss class. I made note cards of the notes for the tests except for the first one and did wayyy better than the first test

Don't sit in the front row b/c he'll stand right in front of u & sometimes he smells REALLY bad. It's easy to get A's b/c the tests are all from the notes, but his accent is so bad u can't understand him at all! It's so annoying! B careful w/the notes b/c he can't write English either!!

Professor Ahmed is the best. He is straight forward about everything. Very helpful. Does not take attendance but you would want to be there to take notes because that is your exam in written form. Just memorize it and your guarenteed an A.

Writes all the notes on the board. Just copy the notes, and memorize the study guide. His exams are the study guides, word for word. On the day before the exam, he will go over any study guide questions you want (basically giving you the answers). His accent is a bit thick, but if you pay attention you can understand everything. Would take again.

Prof. Ahmed is probably one of the most demanding professors @ RUC, but he's one of the best. Expects you to know the material cold. Take ALL the notes. Exams straight out of the notes. Harsh but fair grader. Looking for an easy class, run! Looking to learn, take Ahmed! Great foundation class for ECON majors.

Does not normally teach finance and there is a good reason, Every single class he taught us false information, students would be arguing with him most of the class.. .tests are right from the notes, however and as long as you memorize you will do well on them

tests are STRAIGHT from his notes, no surprises at all. tough if u dont study since its all written, but its not even that much to study. even if you dont understand, just memorize or search online for clarification! no text needed at all even though he always asked me where mine was. hes a very friendly cute man.

Professor Ahmed is a very smart man, and a very good economics teacher. He is a good guy to take if you really want to gain a good understanding on the economy. Tough tests and harsh grading though
