Great prof. Makes time to talk to students and is always willing to meet and help with clarify what we did in class. Very fair grader and posts lecture notes before class so that you don't waste your time taking notes and you can actually learn. Makes stats interesting and not insufferable. if you have to take stats take it with him.

He's a nice guy and it's an easy class, but I don't really feel like I learned that much. Maybe we could have got through more than half of the topic on the syllabus if he didn't get off on random tangents all the time. He really needs to stop lecturing about how bad smoking is, too.

Sometimes he tries to explain things so well or so simple that I actually get more confused. He has a head full of random statistics that he blurts out in the middle of lectures. Statistics is life. He's a good guy, loves what he teaches, but tries to make it so simple and easy that it makes it harder than it has to be.

I took his class on-line this past summer, and I thought he was a great professor (although I never got to meet him personally). Via internet, he was very clear with the class, tests were challenging but if you keep up with the material and hw, you can do fine. There was always chances to boost your grade too. I would definately recommend him!
