DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. Took her online bc of covid, first day she gave us a research project. We hadn't even learned anything yet........ She gave us 8 question quizzes with a time limit of 6 minutes. IMPOSSIBLE to do well on these quizzes. she's so bad with technology. Needs to retire 0 out of 10. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!!

Shes literally the worst professor i've ever had in college, shes no help whatsoever. She doesn't even reply to emails until 5 DAYS AFTER!!! She makes the worst mistakes ever and tries blaming it on the students. Never replies to any emails unless its for her own benefit. I will NEVER take her class again and i suggest nobody else should either.

This professor might be one of the worst professors ever. She had a project which was due on the 10th of September thats at least what it said on the rubric. I guess she changed it and I never knew so when I seen her email I turned it in and it was before the 10th. So she marked me never attended and lied about when I turned my assignment in.

There is only two words that can describe her rudeness, Fanatical and Extreme. She openly argues with her students, makes you feel really dumb even tho your right, she is lecture heavy and assigns a project at the beginning of the semester. If you want to fail by all means take this course. want to pass?? avoid her at all costs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My professor constantly made me feel stupid, I would ask her questions and her replies made me not want to ask anymore. Her grading on quizzes was very tough, even after multiple occasions I would have private sessions to try and understand. Even when I tried my hardest it still wasnt good enough.

Professor Sayre is the best she knows the subject really well and she knows how to teach it she gives 8 quizzes she only takes the best five you have the study guides are just like the midterm/final and you'll have to take really good notes and pay attention and always come to class she is always there for help you'll do great!!!

Mrs. Sayre is awesome. I went from almost dropping the class to getting a B. It's because I was willing to put in the time and she recognized that. Couldn't take my midterm on time, she let me take it after spring break. Couldn't take my final on time either, she gave me ax extra day. She's willing to work with you till the very end so you can pass

Professor Sayres world history class was one of the most difficult classes I've ever taken. The bibliography she assigns took me forever to do and the exams are so detailed that if you don't buy the book, then good luck. Lectures are long and very boring and you must take notes. Open note Quizzes throughout the semester. Try not to take this class.

This class is mainly lecture and small quizzes. It made me learn, but I didn't really enjoy it. I earned an A, but she's a very tough grader. She gets irritated if you ask too many questions outside of class. I would advise you to ask questions in class (keep them brief), take really good notes, and go over them before the test and final.

Professor Sayre is a wonderful professor. People have to understand that this is college, it's not high school. When you go to college you are on your own, which means reading the textbook, studying, and making sure that you are on track. Therefore, the grade that you get from her is the grade you deserve. The only way to pass her class is to study

Comment:

Professor Sayre's class consists of small quizzes (one paragraph) on vocabulary terms, a midterm exam, and a final exam. You will have many small quizzes throughout the semester (around 7 or 8). I would really recommend that you take good notes in her class, because you will need to refer to them throughout the semester. :)

If you are reading this listen carefully. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. She literally is so rude and inconsiderate and very disrespectful to a horrifying level. If you are the type of student who will work hard under any teacher, like me, it will not work with this teacher. This class was a total nightmare.

Extremely rude. When you ask a question on something you don't understand, 99% of the time you will be talked down on like you're in a special education class OR yelled at for not understanding. Pamela Sayre is extremely rude and one of the most unhelpful professors ive ever had. I loved history until i took her class. Showing up to class and doing all your work isn't even good enough. Get ready for a semester of hell if you have the misfortune of being in her class :)

The professor has a lot of knowledge on history yet just lectures on and on and on for the entire hour. She is very tough grader and quizzes are frequent and utterly annoying. Make sure you attend every class period because attendance is extra credit and the end of the semester.

Lectures are clear and gives many chances to turn things in. If you don't turn something in when it's due, you will get half or partial credit for turning it in late. Don't take your phone out during class and don't leave the room or leave early until you've made sure it's okay. READ THE SYLLABUS.

Took this class in the fall, somewhat difficult. Gives quizzes, but tells you about them before hand. Projects + quizzes basically sum up your grade. Don't be intimidated by her, very sweet teacher! Asked her many questions during her office hours!
