Great professor, show up to class and do what is expected of you. Very interactive, which is great for a 7 AM class. He truly wants you to do your best, and very understanding. I learned a lot from Professor Schwarz and would take him again without hesitation.

Easy A and funny! Great and caring professor who will grade you based on your performance giving the speech and the way you structure your speech. He is clear and straight to the point with what he wants and offers constructive feedback after every speech. Take him if you want to learn how to give presentations and to structure speeches.

professor has embraced the online portion of the class. he is nice funny and has spent extra hours addressing my questions through email and zoom. would take again since the experience with him in person was only for 6 weeks and then the pandemic hit. thank you prof schwarz for helping me through this time with being available when needed.

During his online class its the most stressful thing to do. He takes forever to grade your assignment. The way he grades is confusing and the way he gives feedback seem condescending to me. Told me that I wasnt professional on my first speech. Now Im failing the classes and now I withdrew from the course. Im not taking his classes again.

Very caring and funny professor. Kept my attention for a 7 am class. DONT BE LATE - he does start on time and uses the time without useless chit chat. Group project was the best and learned alot about hershey, tastykake and other interesting topics. Would take again.

He loves to talk and talk. It seems like you do good on something but in the end you end up with a lower grade then you deserve. He is always there to talk to about any assignment and he is fair. If you actually try and do your work you will pass no problem.

The professor cares a lot about his students. His lectures are helpful and interesting. The book is used more in the beginning of the semester and then for the final. I had him for a 7 am class and he never ended later than 8. He wants his students to well and is willing to work with them to get their best work. He is very understanding.

Honest review: He's a good professor and means well. He is infatuated with public speaking so he takes this course very seriously and grades you a bit harder than it seems. He requires a lot of preparation for this speeches and knows if you put effort or not. The more creative it is, the better. This class was pretty hard. Wouldn't take again.

Prof. Schwarz is a good guy who understands the students. I didn't buy the text + I did most of my speeches the day of, but still got a B+. I got more confident in myself and I did learn a few things, but the class was kind of a joke, not to be mean. He went on tangents a lot, but they were funny and interesting. Overall easy class and good prof.

Great professor for 7am course. Gave a lot of motivational quotes and then had to bring in quotes during the semester. Not a routine course but other teachers noticed my communication improve by December. Thank you Prof. Schwarz for a life changing experience.

This class has helped me become a better public speaker than every. If your willing to do the work you willnt only succeed, but grow. All the assignments are well explained and hes available for answer any questions. I recommend taking Professor Schwarz.

An energetic professor for a 5:30 class. Professor gave extra credit for the group projects. Prof. quick to respond with emails and if needed we could call him. That helped alot. Be prepared as guy does call on students especially for those who look disinterested or are texting.

For a 7 am class professor was up and energetic. Beginning of the semester was tough, but the snow didn't help much either. By the end of the semester professor praised us on our group projects and exam was fair, but I had to study. If you are a morning person, then this professor will be the one to take. If not, then take a later class.

This guy is professional and responsive. Some of the classmates in my class were late and lazy and no wonder they may think he is unclear. If someone showed up late, half asleep and unprepared they get what they put into it. Finished on a high note and professor told entire class group projects were the high point. I came out of class happy.

This professor is good. He always answers your questions if you have any and is there to clarify the things he wants. If you take the information he gives you on how to deliver the speeches, you will get an easy A. He gives you all the information you need to succeed. Comment:

Lets get one thing straight, many students take a EASY professor for an EASY A. Well, Perry is not that guy. Getting an A isn't impossible, but is earned with work. Many students complained about him, but from experience, they were lazy and expected an A just for showing up. He is a great, funny, helpful, understanding man who I wish I had again.
