I feel I should get my money back as he reads powerpoints and rambles on the simplest explanations, or goes off on a tangent on highly academic points that are not necessarily relevant and he gives no explanation of them. Class was fairly easy, there are only two excel assignments, and two current events (1 page reports) and three multiple choice exams (come to class and read the book and you will get an A). Professor Butler related the material to real life experiences, made it more interesting. He is a funny guy...

Try to take his class in the summer section and do all of his HWs. HWs are not that difficult and you can get the full grade for HWs if you do SOMETHING....That's right...Just explain here and there and you will get full credit. Test not that difficult but not that ez either. So just read the txt book and you will be fine.

Mr. Butler does a great job, especially considering extremely dry subject matter. Has a good way of simplifying statistical concepts that you may have been taught in a more complicated fashion in the past. In other words, he doesn't make it brain surgery and he gets that it doesn't have to be. Recommended.

Tests easy, striaght from powerpoint, get one sheet of notes for tests. Lectures easy, gives real life examples. Made a dull subject interesting. Not very math intensive. A little statistics knowledge needed. Good instructor.
