She is a great lady, but her class was very hard. I had to work and study more in this class than I did in my chemistry class. You basically have to memorize the bible dictionary. Her tests are super specific and super long and I found them to be very difficult

Very good person, but a terrible professor.She doesn't teach anything relevant or helpful.Most of the stuff she teaches are her own opinions and completely not consistent with doctrine.Her tests are very frustrating--she tests on things not discussed in class or the assignments.I got an A in the class, but I couldn't stand going to class.

This was a terrible class. There were too many days where contention was created. Although, she is very knowledgeable, I did not enjoy attending. The tests were very obscure and the answers were unclear. I would recommend a different professor.

Sister Benson was an amazing professor! She was so nice and eager to help any student who came to her. I was sick alot one semester I had her and she did so much during that and was so understanding. Her class was super easy if you studied the before class questions and had your BOM. One of my all time favorite teachers!!!

Her class was difficult, the tests were based on stuff that wasn't covered in class. She also digressed quite often and many times taught doctrines that are truly inconsistent with the scriptures basing too much of her opinion in her lectures.

She lectures on interesting material but often I found myself zoning out. She tests on things that were never covered. Ever. For example, my final exam, 137 questions, took me 3.5 hours. At least they're open Book of Mormon. She isn't much help outside of class though. Not an easy class at all. Can't recall much that I learned.

This was not an enjoyable class and sadly I didn't really learn anything. The homework was mostly busy work, the tests were hard and not based on lecture, and lectures were very hard to understand. I would recommend a different professor for Book of Mormon.

She is super spiritual and focuses a lot on temples and doctrine, which is great. her tests are hard though and will often have stuff that we barely talked about. she likes to confuse people. but overall, great class.

Sis. Benson is the absolute best! I loved her class. It was spiritual and informative without being over the top. It is true her tests are difficult, but she curves them nicely and offers significant extra credit opportunities for minimal effort.

I absolutely loved Sis. Benson's class! I was nervous about taking Book of Mormon, but it ended up being one of my favorite classes! She's good at connecting different parts of the scriptures and expressing her love of the gospel, especially missionary work. Tests are a little hard, so go to class and take notes in your BoM to use in the test.

Sister Benson's class is so spiritual and she is so kind. She cares about each and every student. If you are struggling, go talk to her! She is more than willing to help you. Make sure to go to class cuz her tests are kinda hard and are mostly on things discussed in class. Make sure to write in your BoM!! (you can use it on tests)

Very nice teacher, and she keeps the class involved in the lectures. If you don't understand anything, she will keep on it until you understand it. Tests are pretty easy. She always allows open book. She's also quite humorous, which is always nice.

She is a great lady. Her classes were interesting and I learned a lot. The Tests were really tough though. Not so much about class info and more on the homework. You can retake midterms but I didn't find that helpful. Final was terrible and I spent 3 hours on it and got an 85. Too hard for a BOM class.

This class was not easy. The midterms were difficult. The final took me almost 3 hours and I came out with a B-, even though I searched for every question in the BoM. She focuses a lot on little details and there's homework before every class. She does care about her students though, and is willing to throw out unfair test questions.

The tests are crazy. You can retake the midterms, but I didn't find the review week very effective. Her classes are alright. Most of the questions she asks are super left field and you have to read her mind to understand. Most of the class was the same as anything else I've learned, and most of the new things seemed like false doctrine.
