I took him my freshmen year for psychology and i was expecting not to like him but he was actually kind of awesome. Passed with an A and that was strictly because of the extra credit worth 60 points or something. He gives you two big assignments but tells you way ahead of time and if you do them you will pass.

Professor Resta was an amazing professor! I personally don't like long lectures because they tend to be boring, but he definitely made it interesting and worth listening! He always made the class laugh, and it was an easy A as long as you take notes and listen!

Great teacher. Take good notes, don't miss class and you'll be fine. I learned a lot. He's not weird as some say, just honest and not fake. Highly recommend as long as you are not a lazy and immature person. Text book is helpful(you need it mainly for final project), but his lecture is legit and informative, NOT a power point marathon!

Easy A. Interesting material. Totally a weirdo. Can be mean to students but only if you dare to raise your hand or ask for help. Midterm40%/Final40%/Paper20%. Always ends early. Hilarious but goes on lots of tangents. Dumbs it down, super short/easy tests. Don't need the textbook. If he doesn't say it, it's not important. Show up every class.

Awesome and hilarious professor. If you miss his lectures, not only are you missing out on important material but a good laugh as well. You can learn a lot from this class to take with you in the future. No essays, weekly online quizzes, great extra credit potential.

Extremely rude and condescending and very unprofessional. Likes to give you more of his personal opinions than actually teach you. The class is easy but the professor is not good.

I found this Professor to be condescending and very eccentric. I did NOT want to take this course again. I sent him numerous emails to receive help, and when I was still left confused, I was made fun of the next day/class with details of my email but without being personally pointed out. I was discouraged and unhappy.

He's great. He's funny and gives great stories to help you understand the material. He has some radical ideas about medication in psychiatry but presents good reasons for them. He doesn't hesitate to make lazy or arrogant students feel stupid(best part of class). His class is easy I just paid attention never studied and got an A.

This man is full of contradictions. He claims he had such worldly experience in the clinical Psychology field, yet he has extremist ideas on mental illness. " There is no need for medication, people put themselves in depressive states, etc. " He is also quite condescending. I am quite certain he makes most of his stories up that he tells the class

one of my favorite teachers, ever. he is pretty crazy but he made the class interesting. he believes in aliens, and like to ghost hunt in his free time. 3 tests, 1 ch. summary. dont slack on the summary, its really long, not hard though. attendance is not mandatory but he tells you test questions in class. he'll call you a bopper if you miss class.

An awesome professor. He's a little eccentric, but he was always telling interesting stories about cases he's come across in his practice. NO reading was required of us, just the 3 tests and 1 written assignment. As long as you pay attention to his lectures, it's an easy and interesting class. Easiest A I ever had, and I'd recommend him to anyone.

Certainly eccentric, but I guess that's the worst that I could say about him. Not your average psych instructor, to be sure. Despite the guy's personal quirks, his quizzes/tests were about what I expected. Like everyone else has said - read the material, do a few assignments, consider studying if it doesn't stick. Easy A.

Awesome Professor! Although he can be rather loud, he brings much more insightful areas to the subject. He does not believe in aliens, but he does believe that the "abductee" believes that they were abducted. He has three test and a chapter summary. The test are not hard as long as you pay attention and take notes. DO THE CHAPTER SUMMARY EARLY!

Had him for PSY-111 and I loved his teaching style, very enthusiastic, likes to ramble on aliens, a very interesting character. No extra credit for this class, and tests can be kinda confusing, but he knows what he's talking about. Read the books, listen to the lectures, take good notes, and pay attention and you're good as gold.

He's insane! He goes on and on with a story that lasts for 15 minutes. He believes in aliens! He refers to not believing in chemical imbalances of the brain. He doesn't cover half of the book. Only 4 assignments. 3 tests and a chapter summary paper. If you need more work to get better grades, quizzes, etc., you'd be screwed in this class.

He only has 4 assignments total. 3 unit tests and a chapter summary. even though he has no attendance policy you should still go to class. In class he goes over everything in the textbook. don't take his class if you need a lot more work to understand the material like me. i need a little bit more assignments get and keep a grade.

I took Psy111 with Prof. Resta and found it to be really entertaining. If you attend all his lectures you will definitely get an A. He gives you helpful hints on what's going to be on the test. Whatever he says in class thats exactly what's on his test so attend his class. He is also a fair grader. A fun and easy class and I definitely learned.
