I took this teacher the year before she left back to NY in 2004-2005. I kept her notes and they are so helping me out in my stats class for graduate school. She was such an amazing professor and she trully cared about her students learning and understanding statistics. Everything I know about stats is because of this teacher. Thank you Mrs. French

Dr. French is a great professor. She makes the class worth going to. There's always a great discussion and I have to say that other professors at UCR should start taking teaching lessons from her. I love her and her class!

Dr. French is the bomb diggety! She pushes us to the max, but as a result we learn to really own the material. She doesn't expect anything less than 100% from her students. She's easy to talk to, fun, and she truly does care about us (and chocolate). =)

Dr. French is a really good professor because the class she taught was unimaginably interesting and educating. She gives a whole lot of work but in the end it was worth it and did not seem like too much. I also liked how personal she was with everyone.

She is such a "coo" teacher. Very friendly, understanding and approachable. She is the most down to earth teacher i have ever had at U.C.R. She is not easy and you must work your butt off. If u have the opportunity take a class with her.

For a class that dealt with racism she made it very welcoming. Taking the time to learn everyones name and allowing everyone to relate personal experineces as well as the reactions to the readings provided the perfect setting for discussion.

Truthfully, her quizzes prepare you for her exams. They're really helpful. She was intimidating at first, eventually you overcome your fears. Be sure to pay attention and read ahead, she will call on you in class. Sidenote, I love her outfits! :D

Her exams are totally fair and she really prepares you for the exams with her homeworks and quizzes. I hated the quizzes at first... but it makes the exams easier! Its scary when she calls on you in class! Be prepared!!!
